Hippie Flipper
some people like cocaine because the duration is much shorter, resulting in a feeling of "i have more control over this and myself than with coke"
then you have people who like meth because it's a longer lasting version of coke, minus the feeling of being invincible.
There are tons of reasons, I'm just curious to see everyones thoughts and opinions.
For recreational purposes? Cocaine. There is 0 reason to do meth when I have cocaine.
It's shorter acting, easiery to control dosage, more fun, more euphoric, more socially acceptable, women like it more etc etc etc...
I love to taste, the smell, the ritual of chopping it up into little lines, the ritual of finding a paper/straw to sniff it up with... the whole thing.
Meth is far far far too long lasting. I like my sleep, and I like getting sleep every night.
I've only done meth knowingly 5 times or so in my life, and each time I regretted it while I waited for like 10 hours to get some sleep after my last dose.
With cocaine, even in my HEAVIEST use level (8ball every 2 days or so) I was highly functional and held a VP level position. With meth, I doubt I would be able to hold down ANY job, let alone forward my career.
And when I want to stop, I simply don't call my dealer... I feel like crap for maybe a day or two after my last binge, but then it's over.
Any cravings I get after stopping cocaine are easily overcome, they are mostly brought on my drinking alcohol, going out partying etc.
With meth, my cravings were ones that I felt were NECESSARY like "Oh my god, I'm never going to get through today since I had no sleep... Where did I put my baggie of meth?"
Meth is very effective at what it does, but the behaviors that meth induces into a person's life - if not moderated - are very likely to have drastic negative effects on the users' life.
With cocaine, even when I binged, I'd still be ready to work on Monday morning without the need for drugs to get through the day.
