your first time smoking weed did you get high

i didnt get high the first time i smoked. it took me more than a couple times to get high. I guess i just couldn't recognize the feeling at first. But the first time I hit a grav bong, i got fucking baked. i freaked out at first i thought i was crazy but then i just realized i was high haha.

First time I smoked I couldn't stop laughing, ended up rolling in pee, and got lost on the road. Over all good experience cause I was just to happy to care.

If anything, just focus on the really big bold words.

I consider myself to be fairly knowledgeable about drugs (I have done my research and tried to find the answer to this question), and I asked the same question. How is it possible for someone with no cannabis tolerance to smoke properly (meaning the cannibinoids should be in your blood and brain) and not get high? I'm not saying it's impossible or that anyone here is lying or anything, I'm just saying it makes no scientific sense in terms of any science I'm familiar with. I just don't see why cannibinoids would work normally on your receptors every time you smoke except the first. It would make cannabis the only drug I know of that has that effect, which would be fascinating. You seem to know the answer, so could you (or anyone else here for that matter) explain it or at least put up a link so I can read about it myself?

A lot of people don't get high their first time. Even if they do it right, I guess it just happens and there's probabably some scientific reason behind it, varying from person to person. A lot of my friends didn't get high the first time.

/\ya sounds more like people just don't realize that they are high. i've talked to people who were obviously burnt but said they weren't high. unless someone can hola at me with dat research, then i'll hold to my original statement..

Nope. Like all the others, I didn't know how to inhale properly.

I was completely out of it and couldn't move. Apparently I turned a light shade of green and then when I was actually mobile it was straight into the loo to puke! Didn't do it for a long time after that.

Answer this and you'll be well on your way to self-enlightenment:

Are cannabinoid receptors in the brain actively doing their job from birth?

If yes, why? What purpose do they serve when not receiving cannabinoids and similarly structured molecules that they've yet to be exposed to?

If no, what do you think jump starts them around the same age that drug experimentation normally occurs?

I really don't think there's a definitive answer on this at the moment, so it's all subject to a person's own experiences and secondary knowledge.

Yes. I had hallucinations of 1:1 life like scale Transformers hiding in the woods. Pretty epic. It was only about 3 hits off a swag roach. I don't get any hallucinations these days without something stronger like shrooms though.

lol sounds like you need to do some of your own research there buddy.

Hell yeah! I just stared at everything.

My friends took me on a car ride with a blunt and I was in complete silence the whole time. Good times.

First time I smoked I did get high, did I know what to expect ...no. Did I know how it felt, no. I didn't even know I was high until I did it more and more. Its an experience like never before, I smoke weed constantly and its not the same as I was with no tolerance at all.

Remember it like it was yesterday, I was 12 and some Hawaiian dude offered some of his smuggled goods. I was all like tingly, laughing uncontrollably and in general was the best high i had ever. Quality of weed here has never been like that stuff, and its getting worse by the day :/

Why are you avoiding answering the question? I first smoked at age 12 and I got high. Young children (infants included) can get high, rastas have been getting little kids high for years. Cannabinoid receptors are indeed active from birth, and they serve a great number of purposes other than getting high. They don't serve a purpose when not receiving cannabinoids, as far as I know.

well my first time:
i was 11, my little sis was home and my bro took me up to his room with two other of his friends to be "invested" (although it was out of a dirty old coke can, looking back thats awful) i took one tiny hit and coughed a m-f'in lung out. the next day my bro took me out to the church parking lot with the same two friends where we smoked 3 joints. (it was some bomb ass bud too, we aint got nothin' but the best in maple tree nation) i didnt feel a thing until i stepped in the car. nice night.

so the first time i tried weed was brownies which i wasn't sure if they were potent. I drank the same night so i wasn't sure if it was the alcohol or the weed. This happened again. The weekend after I smoked some form of mango and was watching the super bowl at my buddy's place. I couldn't move from the couch. I felt like my legs were numb and falling. It was awesome.

The first time i smoked weed was with my brother and cousin. We found one of my uncles joints and then stole some of his cigarettes and went out back by the swamp to smoke that shit. I definitely wasn't obliterated, i guess i didnt know completely what to expect. We went back inside started watching tv and i was definitely zonin out on that comfy couch they had.
