Actually, I was referring to fireHOSE not firehouse. Totally different band.
Not hating on firehouse tho, I enjoy a lot of the 80's metal.
Less than a week until I see the Big 4!!

the roots, with an honorable mention to LMFAO for being a whole fucking lot of fun if you're in the right mood

it a toss up between hootie and the blowfish(dunt dunt..only wanna be with you) and barry manilo(mandy)!
then again john denver killed it.(rocky mtn high)

I've been to my fair share of shows, but it was Ozzfest maybe 5 or so years ago when they had Marilyn Manson, Disturbed, and Korn, along with Ozzy and Zakk Wilde and the Black Label Society of course. That show really rocked. The show was at the what is now the Comcast Center which is about a half hour from Boston. Manson's show was so much better than I expected, Korn was absolutely unreal. This was like my third time seeing Ozzy, so it wasn't as spectacular as I once thought it was.

Also, Killswitch Engage was on the second stage.

I also went the previous year where it was Rob Zombie, System of a Down, Drowning Pool, P.O.D., and Adema, I missed the second stage that year because I was pretty drunk in the parking lot.

I was at this, it was my first big concert with two stages. And the day I fell in love with Disturbed <3 I saw them 5 times after this show and they just got increasingly better, they know exactly which songs to ply when to get you pumping. Amazing every time!!

the buzzcocks

i had to look to make sure this wasn't a DNA post lol :)

favorite band i've seen live is tool. i have a bootleg from when i saw them in kalamazoo in 2002. was october but i forget the date.

was the second time they played "third eye" since coachella 1999

i fucking geeked

been thinking this over, and although i've only seen them 3 times, two of which i thought they were just okay performances

but the 3rd time was 4 years later, young blood replaced washed up drunks and was the only concert i've been to where every single song blew my mind

they were selling recordings of each performance at the festival for 10 dollars, best 10 dollars i've ever spent on music

i am not the guy who claims that every show i go to to WAS THE BEST EVER, quite contrary actually, i keep it real

i listen to most of the show almost ever day, it's a pristine recording, thought i would never find a band in my lifetime that could move me this way

əkoostik hookah

if only they would play east of pittsburgh

Gotta say without a doubt The String Cheese Incident. Caught them for their set at Rothbury 09 when I had never even heard of them and they totally stole the whole festival. I just attended my 11th incident since then and every time they blow my mind and keep it completely fresh and new. Favorite part of their Red Rocks run this year was the end of the the second night with a Little Hands > I Know You Rider blazing encore. Then they shut it down with The Mighty Quinn (one of my favorite Dylan tunes), I was almost in tears of joy at this point. Hope they end up doing a New Years run this year as I will without a doubt be there.
