i know i'll use cobber in day to day life frequently.
the rest...it'll take a sec to memorize
^I'm sure it's going to sound very effective with your thick American twang, too. ;)

Said by one bogan male in the Penrith area to a passing bogan female (heavy ocker accent): "Oi slutface, hoik ya pissflaps ovah here an' I might jus chuck a fuck in 'em."

ROFL! hahaha, i fucking love bogans haha, they are the easiest people to piss take in the entire world. oh god, thats classic.

love the collage =D

^haha, awesome vid.
Bogan is more like any long haired metalhead in my city (wellington, nz)- plays guitar, has a goth girlfriend, has every episode of family guy/southpark on his computer, deals pot.

o, also, you guys have this dude to worry about
dont worry, i've already had the word "grub" explained to me

edit: also, i heard in that other vid "she'll even change your stubby while your watching sports"
it sounded like "stubby" neways. does that mean beer?

That area 7 song is legendary! Its so stuck in my head now though

Nobody likes, nobody likes, nobody likes a bogan

Urgh I can't stand the word Cobber. Dirty old bogan men used to call me it flat out when I was working in IGA back in the country.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That made me laugh so bad!

=D

Oi= Excuse me
Booey=Beer
Cunt= Person

"Oi!! Booey cunt!!"= Excuse me person but can you please pass me a beer.

On a similar note, I used the abbreviated term "schooey" in front of my flatmate, who's from QLD no less and an avid beer drinker, and she had no idea what the bloody hell i was talking about. For shaaaaaaaaaame!

My mum has a fantastic book called "Let's Talk 'Strain" (Let's Talk Australian)

My favourite phrase from it is:

"Gai Mai Hair Garn?"

Translates to: G'day mate, how are you going?

Not so much a book on colloquialisms, it's more a guide to deciphering Occer (very slang Australian accent). Piss funny though. If you say the above phrase out loud, you'll get a fair idea of how a REALLY Occer accent sounds.
