Xanax Prescription

Hey mate, good questions.

Thing is, i sleep fine and always have without substances. The sleep issues were CAUSED by the Xanax addiction. Going cold turkey is what completely fucked my sleep. I've unfortunately 'relapsed' so to speak and have just run out so im ecstatic(sarcasm anyone?) that i have to face another few weeks of fucked up insomnia. I never actually used them for sleep unless i'd be off my guts on stimulants.

As for sleep aids, i can't help you as i've never needed them.

All i can do is reiterate the point to stay the FUCK away from Xanax.
 
to the op , no u dont need to see a psych , i get 150 2mg zannies every fortnite just from local gp .
 
His tolerance is high so i guesssin he has built up reputation with the docs or gettin it from different places haha

^ Ha ha, on the streets of Sukhumvit, Bangkok there was a guy selling 'valium' and 'viagra' from a table with pirated CD's and DVD's... as well as some genuine Rolex's. ;)
 
When I told my psychiatrist my mother had a long pharmaceutical history, I named off all my faves: klonopin, valium, xanax, and temazapam. Unfortunately she could only prescribe me two benzos, so I opted for the xanax and temazapam, and am quite happy with it.
 
yeah withdrawl from xanax will kill you if your addicted on a massive level just control your use and try not to take it every day just when its the worse
 
I got the endless lorazapam script a few years ago and it wasnt till I was sick of taking benzos that I stopped. All you got to do is find a doc that actually doesnt care about helping you but rather just getting your business, its not that hard imo.. Shits a dead end when you get off benzos you will be more fucked up then before. The buzz is good but I just would rather go to the street for an occasional treat.
 
Its meant to treat not to be abused recreationally. If u abuse something/anything it will always come back and bite u in the ass at the end. Just dont over do it and dont make a habit of it.

normally naming off your "faves" would raise a red flag with your psyche. you must have a good relationship with them.

i have a good rapport with my doc and he is pretty open to my suggestions within reason.

Xanax is first line treatment for PANIC DISORDER, not GAD. GAD is treated with long acting benzos like clonazepam and diazepam. Alprazolam is preferred for use in Panic disorder (panic attacks) as it comes on quickly, and quells anxiety well - long term use should be avoided.

Compulsive dosing of xanax can cause some fucked shit to happen believe me, every time i get a script its a hospital visit for sure because I, like yourself, can't help but wanna get more fucked, and i do have panic disorder + GAD.

Be careful, and look for the right treatments - oh and get a better doc.

I asked my doc for something short-acting for a flight....he gave me valium. i questionned if it is short-acting and he answered yes......half the GPs dont even know what they are prescribing hahaha.

That doc clearly was an idiot or u were baked but i think that later is correct LOL my doc said dont drink with them at all.

Especially Xanax, of all benzos. That'd be a very messy combo with no/low tolerance. Xanax and alcohol have similar half-lives I think, not certain though, or atleast have peak effects that last a very similar time. Just screams terrible rebound symptoms from my perspective.

^ It's just that it seems like a highly irresponsible thing for a doctor to tell a patient to do. Imagine if that patient didn't have any benzo tolerance? It makes me wonder about what else he does in his practice.
