Xanax (alprazolam) and Klonopin (clonazepam) poll

I get 12mg of clonazepam daily, alprazolam & diazepam are the ONLY benzos thatare not 100% cross-tolerant. Lorazepam is a metabolite of clonazepam, so people who prefer it to clonazepam I find odd.
Bromazepam is excellent, so is flunitrazepam, BTW.

Xanax and K's pretty much feel the same to me but since i had to pick just one i had to choose xanax. Valum is good but nothing great. I hate ativan i dont know why the only good think about it is its water soluable.

It's funny I just came across this poll tonight.

I just returned from the Dr's 2 hours ago. I had been off benzos for about a month cold turkey after a good 2 1/2 year everyday habit. My anxiety and sleepness had been higher than ever. Not healthy. I know benzos should be weened.

He fired me up with a few Xanax and Klonopins.

I had been using Xanax, Ativan, and Valium during that time.

My tolerance had gone to shit over that long period of use. I takes forever to get tolerance down, and hardly any time to run it up high again.

My Dr. just told me to take Klonopin and stay far away from Xanax. He pretty much would have given me tons of Klono's instead of a Xanax or Valium.

That was fine with me since I had always wanted to try Klonopins.

I must say even after 1 MG Xanax and only 1 MG Klono, I feel better than I have felt in ages. On cloud 9. Better than if I had 100 MG oxy into me.

The sad thing with Benzos in your tolerance will skyrocket almost overnight and kill you to get it back in check again.

FOR LONG TERM ANXIETY RELIEF, I prefer 4 mgs of clonazepam a day (taken in 2 doses) I usually take 2mgs or 1mg in the morning with 3mgs of xanaxc and at night before bed i usually either have been taking a 2mg klonopin or a 2mg xanax, and even taking that i still wake up at least 6 times per night. sucks

Xannies are the best. hands down. valium is second favorite if doses are high enough to compare to xanax...

i've never liked clonopins TOO much, after a 150mg 2mg-at-a-time binge last year. it just seemed to give me all the forgetfulness and mind haze of xanax but not as good feeling. it's still OK though. it's not as fuzzy happy, more crisp clean weirdness? if that makes sense?

and as for 4, never touched it!
