I'm not sure of the protocol for this, so I'll say "feel free to delete this if it doesn't meet guidelines and stuff".
Now, the disclaimer done, I shall proceed.
I am curious as to who, if anyone is interested in writing (I'm loathe to call it 'more seriously'), so I'll say 'with the intent of getting published'?
I'm about 30,000 words into a novel at the moment which I really want to get published at some stage, and have not (for reasonably obvious reasons of copyright and publication issues) posted any of it here.
The novel is about the Vietnam War and is a rather nasty look at the more cynical aspects of it, the way it was largely fought (on the American/Australian/Korean side) by people who had no interest in it, and were merely staying alive in an increasingly nonsensical media obsessed situation, where tactics and warfare took a backseat to public relations, and so on. The short story that this idea emerged from I originally posted in this forum, though I think its been deleted as a result of forum pruning. <- Incorrect. Its here & thanks to Angelight for pointing out how to find it to my mildly retarded self.

I'm curious though, are any other people writing beyond what they post here, or are people intending to get works they have posted here? If they are under the first instance, what is the topic you're working on?
So what are your plans for writing 'Beyond Bluelight' if any?
