We all have crippling anxiety or insomnia to get to try benzos... (or in my case, both anxiety and insomnia) ... be glad you don't have either one of those. :D
 
I used to call my xanax my "pimp pills". When I was the designated driver for my friends going to the bar I would take a small dose, and have 2 or 3 beers throughout the night. I would be so calm that I would just walk up to any girl, and start a conversation. Usually worked out pretty well for me.
 
Very recreational for me mixed with some booze. but i found they are only truely recreational once you start to build a slight tolerance. Not abusing

yea they boost my confidence to talk to females and such, but they also make the sex pretty bad IMO.
 
ah well i have anxiety pretty bad and ive seen a doc about it . . .

i thought you all obtained ur benzos off street dealers lol . . .


i think in my case its because im under 18 and docs dont like to prescribe them to u18's :(

Benzos, for me, are somewhat recreational simply cause I'm not *that* much of a social person. With a little xanax (or any of several benzos, at a low-ish dose), however, I relax and am able to enjoy meeting new people, talking to people I normally wouldn't talk to, etc. This, to me, is fun.

If you mean recreational as far as euphoria, then no.... I take temazepam/restoril to sleep, and there is some euphoria, but not enough for me to justify taking it just to experience the euphoria. lol.

do you have problems sleeping? maybe someone already suggested, but go see a doc. I was offered several options as far as sleep meds go on my second visit..

Yes they are recreational, until they become truly amnesic....thats why i hate triazolam... its so potent and short acting that it knocks me out right away and then i just wake up asking myself WTF happend.

clonazepam is a good one.

zolpidem and zopiclone are fun too even if they're not benzodiazepines.

ugh I agree about the amnesia. not fun!

and the euphoria I experienced from zolpidem was a hundred times more than what I got from any benzo. then again, maybe I'm just not taking enough.
