I remember once when I had a few diazepams I had a really nice time on them but could have been down to something else....

I had lorazepam and didnt seem to do much apart form chill me out...

Would you say that its worth trying to get hold of some for recreation? Or are they just recreational for people who are highly strung and any kind of relaxation is a relief!?

Dont think I have ever really noticed any euphoria from them yet they are regarded as having high abuse potential and people say they have as bad withdrawl as opiates but from my experience opiates (i have only had codiene/dihydrocodiene CWE and also morphine IV in hospital which was NICEE!!) are very euphoric in comparison to benzo... does it depend which one you get?

i find them to be enjoyable if used in moderation

they relax me very well and im a pretty stressed out person to begin with so it feels good for me

lorazepam isnt so great IMO but diazepam is nice

alprazolam is probably my fav tho <3

Doing nothing on Benzos would not be enjoyable like it would be on something that really causes euphoria like opiates. However, they can make enjoyable situations more enjoyable by lowering inhibitions, creating a reassures constant calm feeling, stuff like that. Lorzepam is the worst benzo I find, some come with more of their own sort of presence that approaches something like a buzz. Its easy to expect too much in terms of a buzz from benzos and be disappointed, no matter which one you take.

Not extremely recreational, no. However, I primarily use them for panic attacks or general anxiety. Otherwise, they are 'fun' in the sense that I use them at night time to fall asleep-therefore fun because I won't wake up tired and cranky. ;)

lol yeh I found lorazepam to be pretty poor, the feeling I got of them wasnt really pleasurable at all... but diazepam seemed pretty nice..

I just wondered why there is such a stigma attached to them and why it is so hard to get them prescribed in the UK.

loldamien
(twice I've said that today!)

Benzos are nice, but they can be a subtle euphoria.

I can't remember.
^nice

I would say benzos are "recreational," but that is a broad term. i do not think they are a good drug to abuse in the way that so many individuals abuse drugs. benzos are good in small doses. you can't just take more and think the positive effects are going increase according to how much more you took. benzos relax you. worries go away. dont have any worries? already perfectly relaxed? they might not be your thing. a few of them give some sort of light high, but which ones and to what extent varies greatly from person to person. and like i said, taking more will not necessarily increase that high. temazepam (which ive never had), diazepam (my favorite), and alprazolam (inferior triazolam) seem to be the ones that most people say they get some sort of noteworthy high from.

I would not describe them as specifically "euphoric," as i would the real opiates and the real uppers. though they make for an extremely pleasurable but i guess dangerous combo with some of the other drugs of abuse. not recommending mixing them with anything though.

also, they are extremely addictive. i'd say common, orally administered benzos might be more addictive than common, orally administered opiates. obviously a very subjective statement; benzos are much more prevalent in my life, and i have problems with anxiety.

They are recreational in a since that they "free the mind" of harsh stressing thoughts and relax muscle to an extent.
The most commonly abused drugs behind alcohol and tobacco in most countries.

Yes, they can definitely be recreational...

Until you get a massive tolerance and become physically dependant on them. :\

never tried them :(

Everyone on blight seems to get them or know where to get them from . . . .
why dont i know !!!!????
