Would you run from the cops?

What would you do if you had an encounter with police and they knew you had drugs?

I live in a fairly small town, and I don't exactly "blend in the with the crowd," a lot of people know and recognize me, which really sucks. So if I did run away, and the cop got a good glimpse of me, I would catch hell later.
 
It really depends, if is a minor amount, not something that could get me put away, i'd talk to them... Very situational.... Otherwise, i have a X.C mountain bike and extensive knowledge of my towns back trails on my side :p never on foot.
 
I picked 'other'. Basically because it depends on the situation. One time a cop saw a half smoked joint in my car ash tray and didn't give me a ticket or anything. He was actually pretty cool and we just talked and I told him how i just got out of rehab for heroin. He caught me drinkin a beer underage outside a friends house, I (stupidly let him search my car cuz i didn't think i had anything in there). So i was really surprised to see a half smoked joint in my ashtray on the ride home.

But considering the scenario if the police definately knew I had drugs 100%, I would probably just be honest and tell them i had shit on me if they asked. Depending on what types and how much. If i had a large amount of a hard drug I would probably try to run if I had a decent shot at getting away.

Otherwise I'd probably just be honest. In my history it's gotten me out of 3 or 4 possible arrests. Cops got better things to do (most of the time) than to dig through your car looking for a 5 bag of weed, or possibly stick themselves on a needle looking for a bag of heroin. I've gotten more than my fair share of warnings, and plenty of "stay out of the city, they have drugs in the suburbs".
 
Ive run in my 911 turbo on the toll road. Feels good completely loosing them.

I voted to stash that shit though. Ive gotten pulled over tons of times with stuff in the car. You got to keep your cool and have a smooth story.
 
Been here, done that. Its only good to run if you know for fact you can get away.

helllllllz yes ive had to many many times with much success
it has been a year or two since ive had any encounters
i plan to keep it that way
 
It really depends on what I actually have on me and what exactly the situation is. If I'm walking down the street and got shit on me and the police start to question me and act weird, I'll most likely run my ass off just because of panicing.

But if the police officer has a K9, you can best believe that my ass is following the cop's instructions. I've seen someone try to run from a K9 when I was in high school and he didn't get too far and lets just say the dog had a very unpleasent way to get him down.
 
counting what i have on me, if its class A then i run fast as i can and then dump the stash and pickup later, if its class B... then i would do the same as i would class A... if its class C then let them search me.

but alltogever, its counting on how much of the drug i had on me... but 90% if its not weed or hash on me i run to the moon and dump the shit or go to a mates house who lives close by.

id be so pissed if a friend ran to my house with the cops chasing him.
 
Id run from the cops if it was felony status and I thought I had a good chance of getting away. When I was in highschool id run even if I had just a pot-pipe though.

Nowadays the most likely option is....... ding ding ding... thats right EAT THE SHIT!
 
Running from a cop is nearly impossible in Houston, they're all in cars, they'll fuck you either way.
 
Last time my ex got stopped and searched they didnt find his drugs and he managed to steal the police torch which he put down on a wall, just the little one they keep on their vests but its cool having a police issue torch. I laughed when he came home with it.

It should already be stashed in a good spot before you leave the dealers house or wherever. Also, I wouldn't consent to a police search if I was clean, much less when I have something on me.

I would never run though. Running makes you look quilty. I'm getting too old for that shit anyway, and chances are you'll get caught anyway.
