Would you run from the cops?

What would you do if you had an encounter with police and they knew you had drugs?

I guess they felt it wasn't worth the effort, after an extremely long search turned up nothing they just let me go.

It could have been a passenger earlier in the day smoking etc.

I only ever heard of Drug DUIs when they find actual drugs in the car that is just my state though.

Thats some good shit but i doubt many dudes wanna do that. if i was a guy hell yea id be stealth wih that but dudes seem to be shittier at hiding things. You take an old drawstring bag, like a marble bag. Loop the drawstrings over the button on your jeans before you button your fly closed, pull the strings back through the fly so the bag hangs between your boxers and jeans. My buddy had a cop pull his pants away from his stomach and stare at his goods and let him go while there was a few grams of ice hanging between his pants and boxers.
 
Hmm...Genius. Fucked up that a cop would wanna be checkin out your junk. that seems like a good way around that shit.
 
I have gotten away on several occasions by being friendly and cooperative, while working to keep my story on line. I figure I can always run (though it pretty dependant on the situatiuon, less than 1oz is just a ticket around here), but I might as well try to talk my way out of it first, and I havent really had to run yet. Many close calls, but nothing worth running for.
 
Depends. If the cop is coming out and is at least 50 yards away from me. I will run, but if the cop is already near me and he is making direct eye contact and talking to me. Then I will cooperate.
 
I used to wear t-shirts with pockets in them. I got searched one time, while wearing one of those t-shirts, with a sweatshirt on top of it, had a dugout in the t-shirt pocket, the cop thoroughly searched me, and didn't find the dugout. Was awesome, cause after the cop left, I sparked up the one hitter, let me tell ya, that was the best hit of weed I have ever had lol.
 
hmm if there was a cop faster than me, he'd be doing something other than being an average street cop so yeah, in an urban setting, im hoppin that fence like there's a watermelon patch on the other side
 
I would, Have, and will again run from the police.

It all depends on the situation.

I once did 70 through an intersection right past a cop in a parking lot who immediately put his lights on, I was already accelerating so I fled. Took it upto 100 ( where my truck maxes out ) and hopped on the highway and started weaving between cars. I saw in my mirror that the cop had turned off his lights and continued on the service road. I felt like even more of a gorrila pimp that day.

If I was walking out of a house in the ghetto with drugs on me and a cop was driving by, I would bolt and ditch the drugs while out of their site. Then make my best attempt to get as far away as possible. The further away you are from those ditched drugs and the place you started running, the better.

When I am on the highway, I keep my drugs in the cup holder in the middle console ( Those of you with an F-150 know what I am talking about ). When I am pulled over, I am easily able to just grab the drugs and toss them out the window. Even if they do notice, Cops aren't going to bother stoping traffic so they can search for a few baggies of coke.

If I am alone and far too close to a police officer to make any attempt at escape. Well, If he is alone, I will just beat the living shit out of him and bolt.
Only after taking his gun though. Don't get shot in the back, and you get a gun to sell! ( I consider this a real option, not humor.)

Also, it's a good idea to carry OC spray. People tend to forget what you look like when they only have a short memory of you and then a long period of blindness.

If you're on a motorcycle.....When you get away, they might call in a chopper.
So? You'll be well on your way by the time they get a chopper to your area. HIghway? It takes all of 20 seconds to speed up, exit, and get away into a residential area. Hide the bike under something.
 
Depends entirely on the situation and how much weight I had on me at the time. If I thought I could get away I would probably run, but I would most likely toss that shit somewhere and come back for it later.
 
Well according to the question they know I have drugs so I'm going to book it. I'm fast so I can probably get away and it probably isn't worth their trouble to put too much effort into it if I'm jumping fences and such...although they do like a good chase.
Overall stashing it is useless if they somehow know I have drugs but if they're just suspicious I'd hide it and deny everything.
 
every time ive ran ive gotten away, every time ive stayed i got arrested (that happened only once, it wont happen again)

yea.. cops cant run that fast, unless your out of shape and over weight you can most likely outrun them.. i mean come on, what middle aged fat man could seriously catch a 20 year old former varsity lacrosse player who isnt wearing a ridiculous 30 lb belt full of crap? and so they have cars... a few fence jumps or a little trip to a golf course and they are fucked. find some woods, hide on the beach in the dunes, whatever..

Fun story. My friends and I used to toke up in this apartment building nearby, on the roof if the weather was nice. The doors to the roof only open from the inside, we had to prop one open.

We take a little stroll away from this door, we're puffing away, and BANG. There's two cops. "Let's go!".

We're ahead of them...we start walking faster. We get a good deal ahead of them, reach the propped open door, bolt down the stairs, and the last guy...kicks the prop out.

Slam.

We had locked the cops out on the roof.

depends
houston cops have gotten in deep shit with civilian deaths in crowded traffic (lots of cars on the freeways here) and for a whlie they didn't even chase within city limits
but that created a backlash and now its up to police judgment as to whether or not there is no significant civilian danger for chasing

they really dont give a fuck if you run on a bike and kill yourself
 
If I had anything other than weed on me, I'll dip.

Especially if its downtown. Alleys n shit - I'm gone.

Mind you, if I'm carrying a large amount of weed, I'd dip too.

Anyway, If I was in my home town with anything on me I would stash it, I never have too much to stash on me somewhere, I only ever have perso.

If I was in the city getting H or OC or somethin, and they were far enough away then id run for sure, but its hard in the city, they can kinda just pop up coz theres so many people, although ive never been done in the city.

I have sent a PM to 9mm so please dont get your knickers in a knot, let him and I sort this. Noone elses busness.
