Would you like to have a BL Art Forum?

I would fully support an art forum, and definatly post in it, but SO has done a great job in hosting all the art related stuff so far and the mods have been very supportive of all the art related threads. And I'd feel bad having an art forum take away SO's traffic when they have been so supportive.

i reckon Arts should be combined with words. That place gets no traffic as is.

I don't like the idea of having yet another ghost town forum.

The problem with a forum not getting much traffic is quite serious in my opinion. If the particular forum doesn't receive much traffic, I think that it's hard for it to form a personality or a vibe for itself.

i would like one, mainly because i am tired of seeing these artsy fartsy threads clouding up my normally enjoyable second opinion

really though, i would think it would go over well despite my yawns at the thought. we have a high number of highly creative folks on here. just bc it didn't work in the past doesn't mean it wouldn't now. bl is an everchanging entity.

i have had a highly trafficked site before, and adding a new forum was a matter of clicks, so why not try it? shouldn't be too hard to give it a go. seems to be wanted and needed from my views of a lot of the threads seen here in the past.

Why yes, I would.

I think it would be a fantastic idea and maybe even an inspiration for those who don't really "do" art to maybe go out and practice.

That reason alone merits BL having an art forum.

I don't recall seeing any contributions from you thus far, so perhaps you should think about doing so. We welcome all contributions.

^I've contributed, but only as the middleman because my gf likes drawing contests. I do however like to make interesting imagery using photoshop, which I wouldn't call "art" per se, but it's still fun for me to do and I do have some interesting pieces.


Right now she's doing a portrait of lacey with that fucking hand cannon, I'll be sure to post it in the art thread when it's finished. Should be tops.

Meh, "art" is a subjective term.

Even the avatar contest is considered art here. Almost anything created with photoshop is going to qualify. I don't care what it is, almost any kind of content is better than nothing.
