It's like buying shots at the bar yes. That was the model I was talking about.
Not the off licence
It's like drinking, I used to be a drunk, to quote George Thorogood, " I drink alone, and when I drink alone I prefer to be by myself" not gonna happen and I would not wanna do shit in public. I would want to be alone and in the relative safety of my home. Amsterdam is a waste of money and organized crime is involved in supplying and re upping those lame ass coffee shops. You would need Michigan style full legalization but growing your own coca plants would be too labor intensive. I hate smoking pot anymore. Also the cost of insurance and a lawsuit happy place would make it difficult. You would probably have to make a deal with governments in South American.
Then use real chemists, like the ones who make the cocaine hydrochloride solution that is used eye and other delicate surgeries as a local anesthetic also in nose( yeah I see the irony) and for its vasoconstriction properties. Meaning no blood loss, because it constricts blood vessels. But that is very limited in its usages.
Also it would be more of a target than pot shops, who always have at least on visible but many times two or more guys armed.
With cocaine you would need guys with a legal work related( like sensitive military contractor companies) machine gun licenses. That get complicated. In Michigan you don't need a permit, to openly carry but most probably have a concealed carry permit anyways. But you would need more than rent a cops with glocks, to protect these places and yeah there are plenty of cops and ex- special forces guys who could get a work related machine gun permit. That raises costs and insurance premiums and other operational cost significantly.
Also the deliveries would have to be done in armored cars. Also no one would want these places within a thousand or more feet from any type of religous places or schools. Also away from federal and other government places and residential areas, NIMBY.
ALL this drive up the cost. Also on site medical professionals, like EMS workers.
Cocaine can cause medical issues, especially in people with undiagnosed heart issues. Also no one can tell when I am on my legally prescribed narcotics, and the danger of using a opiod before hand and getting basically a similar to a speedball effect.
Then you have hours of operation which I joked about in an earlier post.
Then you need a building. Then unarmed bouncers, problems with customers and you can't have them grabbing a gun off a bouncer, also the cost of all the other non security types of workers.
All this shit costs serious money and when all is said and done the place would need to turn a profit. With a ridiculously insurance and all kinds of people working as mentioned earlier, and then the tax man is gonna want his cut.
Then there is the profit margin. All this and a cocaine bar would be expensive to go to. Especially in lawsuit happy place like Michigan. I not only have home owners insurance but umbrella insurance.
Years before I moved into my current house( which I own, free and clear, no mortgage) there was some dumbass kid who trespassed and drowned in the private lake/ pond. He illegally went swimming, it is a private no public access pond and everyone got sued.
I have insurance against shit like this or if I have to defend myself from an intruder.
You take all these costs and insurance considerations and whatnot.
You will find yourself or whom ever is the proprieter of this place in the same position as California because the costs will be too high;( no pun) and coke will be cheaper and less hassles from a good dealer. Besides who wants to give out their info. Marijuana, who cares unless you work at certain jobs.
Not gonna work.
Considering also the bipartisan war on pain patients and doctors and all the horror stories of surgeons not writing for opiod pain killers after major painful surgery( they use to be able to write a non refill script for up to a week's worth, 28 or maybe 30 pills and now many don't and GP's( not mine) who will not write for opiods, this has no chance.
There is also a list of medical reasons that about abandonment and cutting off without a taper, which they can now get away with, it ain't realistic or feasible.
Not gonna happen and so ridiculously complicated even if they could. No insurance company would put up a policy on such place. And selling it by the gram or fraction of a gram would bankrupt you unless you were selling as much as Pablo Escabar did. This place ain't moving that many 1000's of metric tons a year.
All the issues can be summed up by a Rick James quote " Cocaine is a hell of a drug"
