Hello guys, I am pretty new here, despite reading and lurking on BL for a few years. I wanted to create this topic, because I've read a lot of those "scary" drugs, but each of them is scary for it's own reason (maybe some of my knowledge are myths?) I'd like to know what you think about it. I would probably never do any of them in my life, except of alcohol of course. Please correct me if I'm wrong about any, and feel free to add your thoughts/experiences
So here it goes:
Feel free to correct/add anything on the list. Once again, I'm happy to be a part of this forum
So here it goes:
- Alcohol - for underestimating it, and scale of usage, I had to include it on the list.
- Super strong opioids like Fentanyl (including those stronger versions like sulfentanyl, carfentanyl, maybe etorphine too?) They say one good shot of H can get you addicted, so I cannot imagine how do you feel using substance much stronger which quicker crosses blood-brain barrier... Very easy to overdose, I've read about a daughter which died because she hugged her mother for a few seconds. Mom had a fent patch on herself. That's crazy and almost beyond belief.
- Flakka / alfa-PVP - those scary trip reports of people getting paranoia, cannibalising other people, no sleep for days, behaving like they are posessed etc. Even if some of those stories are fake, rest of them are sure make me stay away from it
- Krokodil - which I believe is "dirty" or cheap morphine or heroin and if you do not inject it perfectly, your body starts to rot. Saw a documentary of it, it's especially popular in poor parts of Russia.
- Very strong stims - crack cocaine and methamphetamine. Especially crack, which is very short lasting and user has a huge craving to repeat it. They say meth can be reasonably safe if used properly. However, in mass media (see Breaking Bad, or Faces of Meth) it's portrayed as very scary and hardcore drug. Also I've read some article/study where it said meth gives user so much pleasure, that it is like 100x stronger than all natural pleasures, like sex. I cannot imagine it, and how can you do it once or twice and never again
- Deliriants - especially Datura. Trip reports lasting 3 or 4 days, with people reading books that did not exist, or speaking to imaginary friends for hours(!), which usually ended in a hospital or mental asylum. Hard to dose properly (one does not know how much substance is in a seed?) and very easy to overdose.
- Inhalants that directly kill your brain cells, like glue, deodorants etc. I cannot wrap my mind how you can get "high" by directly poisoning you and killing your brain cells directly. As far as I know (but inhalants is the group I know least about) they do not act on any neurotransmitter, just prevent the oxygen getting to the brain? Crazy shit.
