I must agree there as well... he also gets my vote for ugliest actor, especially with that slicked-back hair... eugh.

I also never understood the appeal of John Travolta. He's both ugly and a bad actor. Same goes to to that fag from Titanic, what was his name again?

definitely. it's a well directed film - similar in tone to 'mystic river' i found. it's deftly directed for a first timer.

also, casey affleck is great.

He hasn't done much worth watching in a long time but IMO Robin Williams is one of the most supremely talented comedians ever.
I saw an old stand-up from the late 70's or early 80's where Robin just walks onstage and improvised an entire hour. He'd talk to people in the audience and take what they said and work it into bit and just kept going. Unless every single member of the audience was a plant, he came up with an hours worth of entertaining material off the top of his head. Insane!
No doubt being on shitloads of blow helped but very very few people could have pulled something like that off

I definitely agree with Andie MacDowell, Alba was great when she was a brunette, but after 'Dark Angel' it was like she lost something.
I'm not sure in the male actor dept. but DiCaprio should not be on the list, he's pretty first rate, from Gilbert Grape on up...Affleck, not so good, but great directing in Gone Baby Gone...I'm really not a fan of Hugh Grant...I never find him beleivable...
