Got a half oz of green crack after not being able to find any for a couple years. Always been my fav, so glad to have some again.
 
haven't posted in this thread in a few months cause i've been just doing the same discount house strains from the cheaper dispensaries which i
ve posted about. a lot of mac and cheese which has a chemical taste in a good way, like strains labeled "Chem", not cheesy at all.. then a queens mother gogi that cheech or tommy chong voted favorite at some competition. i've talked about it on this site. subtle grape flavor. pretty good stuff especially for the price...


posting to talk about some of the top cut stuff i got from a dispensary with some higher thc bud and it's some fruity shit.. i got a strain fruit snacks a few months back which tasted like fruit punch. now they got this strain "the fruit" and it's super fruit punchy. it's supposed to taste like strawberry champagne, but it tastes like fruit punch with just strong weed terps to me... i got some of this other strain from the same brand "grandilla" and it's supposed to be a cherry strain mixed with blueberry and it's not as great as the fruit punch stuff. as a matter of fact, it's pretty big of a let down of blueberry, which isn't even a favorite of mine. they let me sniff the ounce in the store, and i thought it was a heady blueberry, but i misjudged. smells kind of bad... but the fruity strawberry or fruit punch type strains from the same brand are super fruity... i'm not gonna say that strawberry fruit has more potential for taste than grape or blueberry buds, but the fruit punch taste from a bong rip is pretty heady, even smoking a joint it tastes a bit fruity under the paper. good stuff. one of the strongest distinct tastes i've gotten from a bong rip of flower... here's the terps for "the fruit" strain, if anybody knows about terps. i dunno if this would have a strawberry taste from the terp profile:

ime, lemon and also strawberry fruit strains tend to have more taste than the grape or blueberry strains. i've never really had any solid tasting blueberry. i used to get bags of it when it was illegal and it would smell great. nothing really special about a bong rip of it... dunno about others experience with flavors.

there used to be this strain of headies around called "juicy fruit" that tasted kind of like the gum. haven't had that in years. was a nice brighter color green with out a lot of hairs.

I remember several months ago at a shop here a guy highly recommending Mac and Cheese, said it's pretty rare here in the states though? Probably more regionally popular. Still, been on my list ever since lol.

OT nothing new for me, got some more stuff coming in tomorrow though probably. Not running even remotely low, but the fuckers with which I fuck seem to be masters at crafting the "...Well, I can't pass THAT up!" deals. 😅 I'm excited to see how the Trainwreck turns out. It's my understanding that the name stems from the strain's super finicky temperament - if not grown with a master's green thumb, it can turn into just that, a trainwreck. But I have yet to get a bad selection from these guys. Sunday Funday in the meantime. Think I'll pack a bowl of some London Pound Cake, or maybe Colombian Gold. 🙂

my dispensary has had the mac and cheese for a while.... here's what a review says about the flavor profile " sweet and creamy buttery cheese flavor accented by touches of sour citrus and spicy skunk". the one i get isn't really butter cheese more of the citrus and even a sour diesel taste a bit with the spicy skunk. i say it's like sour diesel, but it's different. just could be compared.... idk.. really great strain.. it's supposed to be 70% indica 30%sativa, but it seems to be pretty uplifting and sativa type baked to me... i didn't see the comments about it being hard to get in the states. would've loved to see if they had pics.

For turkey day I scooped some stuff because my dad asked for "the best stuff I can find"

...that happend to acquire a bunch of papaya bang bang and petrol potion from a friend who specifies in obscenely great weed.

I also grabbed a gram of Papaya Twist rosin from the best hashmaker in ny on the legal market (new roots gardens)
 
Oh fuck, I just found out my friend Matt over @ new roots gardens just won the mjbizcon ny solventless cup. He threw me a gram of the bickett og rosin that he won with and wow.

Happy turkey day, yall!

Edit: I found out he just won the ny vs cali cup. Holy hell.
