Worldwide Cannabis Users: What are you currently smoking?

The cut of BX4 from Sanctuary was stated to be Sour Diesel/Sour Diesel/Sour Diesel/Sour Diesel basically lol. What is the point of even doing that? I believe it's the "2007" edition. Whatever the case, it was a real nice high with that definitely gassy taste/smell. Just not quite the Sour Diesel I've smoked in my day, one of which was so strong I was twitching out like I was on crack lol.

Mix of:

Diesel Pie (Lilac Diesel x Chocolate Pie)
Niño (Super Silver Haze x Mimosa)
Strawberry Blonde (Super Lemon Haze x Strawberry Cough)
Lemon Zephyr (Super Lemon Haze x Garlic Breath)

Some of these are new strains I've seen around dispensaries. Pretty crazy genes/high on some of these. About to go to Mars, see you there ;)
 
Just plain Gelato Green House @ less than half the price of indoor.

It's crazy how common Gelato is these days. Just about every strain is something crossed with Gelato. I've seen multiple strains with the genetics of Zkittlez and Gelato. Seems these two strains are extremely popular in the legal states. I think I smoked Gelato before when I used to mostly pick up off a friend, then there was "Dolato" at one point. Runtz, Zkittles, Gelato, Mintz, these must be some of the most purchased strains, or the strain purchased is crossed with one or both of these.

Both Pink Runtz and plain Runtz are claimed to be Zkittlez and Gelato... did they just change the mother? I don't know how growing works in that way. All I know is a cut of Pink Runtz I got from a friend who used to grow for a dispensary was nothing like plain Runtz. Felt super heady like Pineapple Express or something, so he might've just made his own variant since he knows they normally are the same two plants crossed... maybe. I'd ask him but I got that from him over 2 years ago.

Honestly a lot of dispensary weed could use more of the stuff we're familiar with. I haven't found Blue Dream in a single dispensary in MA that wasn't live resin or distillate. No thanks... I know California probably has some stacked menus, so even if the potency of weed in MA has caught up to them (everywhere will after enough time, it's rough in the early legalization phase), they still have way more dispensaries. Don't get me wrong, I've scored big time with some crazy good shit, especially lately, but I do miss a lot of the stuff I used to smoke.
 
Went shopping.
Picked up the last of the SlurriCake and some indoor "Pops" strains at a reduced price. Pics below of my stock on hand for the week ahead.

INDOOR

J-1 (Jack Herer x Skunk #1) - incredibly stimulating. I mixed it with Mimosa last night as was viiibing. But how will it be with Super Lemon Haze...
 
Flower: chocolate dipped bananas, bananaconda, sub zero, mcruntz, velvet breath, delicata grapes, zeez, huckleberry, bosscotti, sunset punch. The sub zero is from my favorite super-high-end-but-also-mad-pricey microlicense, and it's great, but not an every day thing.

Concentrate: sour gorilla bundle hash, bloomfruit rosin, roygbiv rosin, raspberry parfait diamonds, apple diesel badder, ice cream diamonds, Larry burger suger

Coming from someone who has actively used drugs and sold drugs at a relatively high level in NY for the past 20 yrs, especially weed (the purple 20 dollar dubs paid my rent for a year and a half back in the day. iykyk and if you ever got a price break on the purple or black nick bags of real-deal, catskill/albany/nyc/marcy pj's sour, you're either lieing or it wasn't sour) this is the first time I've heard the name "sanctuary" associated with Sour.

If you're trying to grow the closest thing to old-school ny Sour, you're limited in options. If you are lucky and connected enough you can find the chaco, hunter mtn, rez dog, jp, wing wang, or aj's sour as clones. If you're trying to go from seed, the only commercially available OG-passable sour imo is either top dawg, Uncle doobie, or designer genes.

Tbh, it's almost never available for a reasonable price point except rn I know that both JJ (top dawg nyc) and uncle doobie have recent batches of sour seeds and outcrosses that kick ass.

Also, considering I smoke a borderline lethal amount if weed, for the love of God don't take what I say as absolute truth lol.

Anyways, rn I'm working with:

Flower: chocolate dipped bananas, velvet breath, mcruntz, bosscotti, sunset punch, huckleberry, delicata grapes, Chile Azul, bananaconda, sub zero, zeez

The same dabs as my last post, and a couple really solid rso syringes
 
Picked up some Greenhouse OPP this morning.

Here is a pic of one of the "nugs" that weighed in at around 2.3g

Prefer the indoor range, but economically had to go for the Greenhouse at this time.

 
Another one of those US strains, deep respect for those creating em.
Aloha/ OG - basically hybrid Sativa dominant, but most important,
besides the 23% THC, the amazing taste. Like smoking fruit Candy.

US grower s heads up. This stuff is top quality and very tasty. :heart6:
 
Left to right - Khalifa Kush, Blue Dream and Permanent Zkittlez. Haven't sampled the PZ yet but the other two are fucking exquisite, especially the Blue Dream. Potent af, fast hitting, energizing, tastes/smells like grapefruit and pine. That og Blue Dream. 🔥

Nah, not lying.

This actually does similar like old school sour and had that same wicked gassy smell. At least in the way it energizes me, it's like some of the old school Sour. I guess perhaps the completely tweakiness isn't as present. And apparently I was wrong. It shows the genetics as Sour Diesel x SD x SD x SD x SD x Tres Dawg. Either way it was unique and it's about the closest I can find to real Sour these days. But I've found some strains that get me like that (J1 gets me jacked up). Terpinolene overload.

Anyway, smoking J1 tonight. A strain so good that mixing it with anything ruins it to me. Possibly the best weed I've smoked, and delta 9 THC says "no%" so damn, no remediation at all. Wonderful looking buds I should probably post pictures of. Then I'm gonna smoke some Burmese Mimosa after a few bong packs of J1.

DAMN. Khalifa Kush is incredible. Due to breeder secrecy we don't really know what else besides OG Kush is in there. I often felt if I smoked a little it'd energize me, a lot it would either be like a hybrid or make me tired. Zkittlez is so common these days it's insane, that and Gelato.

I'm sure they're great but damn I see everyone getting them or every new strain crossed with them lol. Still looks great though, and the Blue Dream too. I haven't seen that at any dispensaries like, ever. Pretty sure I only ever got that off the streets. I'd stick with the streets, but dispensaries do have deals and all, and getting to pick what strain you want is convenient. I have smoked "Blue Dream Blowfish" which is some newer variation which is more stimulating and higher THC.
 
Im vibing tonight with a bunch of fun stuff, but since I've gotten out of work ice been smoking a mix of pink melonz, sub zero, chili Azul, bosscotti, bananaconda, and velvet breath w/ some sour gorilla bubble hash mixed in
 
Got some more "Apple Gelato" indoor pops, economically it is a "no brainer".

No need for pics this time, they were posted recently, and look identical.

Taste great too.
 
Can't take pics at the moment, but I've been smoking some purple lotus bud and gorilla glue budder concentrate.

I have some strawberry kush on the way.
