I split it between two joints, only smoked one so far - it was good. 🙂

These are better lol - diamonds in sauce. About 1.75g here broken up, was two big chunks. The strain is Krypto Chronic aka (Fruity Pebble OG x Alien Cookies) x Jet Fuel Gelato.

 
was smoking blunts of Blueberry OG last night with some family members and I, by far the oldest and most experienced smoker there, became so fucking embarrasingly stoned I could barely utter a coherent sentence

am cautious to go near that strain again cos wtf, maybe I'm just particularly sensitive to it dunno. I will be going near it again though as i have a beautiful 4g bud left of it that it covered in crystals when examined closely - it's one of those incredible-looking buds that's almost a shame to smoke, such is the perfection

Full disclosure.... I have never vaped cannabis before.
I have had rosin before, but it was too strong and made me dizzy.

I also get a similar feeling when smoking too much of the "Sativas", however if smoked in small quantities, the sativa is great.

I also get a similar feeling when smoking any strain through a "one hit pipe", when smoked this way I would feel dizzy after only a quarter of the amount, compared to when I smoke a 1g joint.


So my question is " If I had to vape flower using the necessary device, is the improvement in taste the only benefit, or are the effects vastly different to smoking a normal joint.

Been smoking weed for over 30 years now.... just needed to add that last fact for the best advise. I have faith in BL to enlighten me.

Depending on temperature used many of the cannabinoids are either not vaped at all or just partially so, which changes the effect pprofile as opposed to the usual combustion methods of using

There are definite differences in effect from smoking to vaping. I tend to find vaping gives me a 'headier' more cerebral effect than if I had consumed the same shit in a blunt or via a bong. Sometimes I prefer a vape, sometimes not. Vaping is also very likely to be less unhealthy than smoking too, less carcinogenic etc. Certainly seem less 'coughy', although that isn't entirely eliminated

Some people I know swear they will never consume any other way after trying vapes, some others find it leaves them cold. I'd definitely encourage you to give vaping a decent trial run though - nothing to lose and potentially much to gain
 
poster shredded lettuce most recent two pics look really good... personally i'd pick the more sandy colored looking bud posted first. both of them look pretty dense, but i have good experience with the stuff looking like the first pic. the other stuff looks more light green, and might not be as good with similar looking stuff i've smoking... i'd bet they are both good. the stuff that looks like the first pic looks like a heavier buzz to me. i don't really see a lot of stuff from the dispensaries that dense. some dealers would always have stuff like that back in the earlier 2000's though. sometimes it was the same price as the regular non seeded bud... years later "headies" came out, and it was all fluffy bud that looked and smelt great, but wasn't really as powerful and like twice the price.. that pic posted by shredded lettuce looks like some of my favorite buds.. often has a spicey taste. terps hit the lungs hard in a good way.

if it's like the buds i used to get, it was best when it was fully dried out. that's when the most intense spicey taste was present in the bong rips.

I get what you mean by the coloring in your post, but It's the same bud, "literally".

I just put all of it in a mason jar and photographed it in the light.
The first pic is a more realistic color, albeit a little too dark and when held up to the light, the second picture captures it nicely.

But both pics are of the exact same batch bought this morning. :cool:

To update on the effects and taste, it is not that bad.

It smokes smooth and has no "dizzy" effects, even though I probably have smoked 3 or 4 grams in the last 10 hours. Still feel fine though and need to slow down... long weekend and all.
The taste is average.
The effects are above average.

No regrets on the purchase.

It is nicer than the latest Gary Payton and Thin Mintz, but not close to the Creme Brulee.

og kush, i think supposedly it's SFV og i guess, but even that's confusing cause of cali connection doing bullshit with strain names;

anyway it seems like the normal og kush.

on the nose, i get that triangle kush thing i recognize from TK hybrids, kinda almost fruity, almost flowery, but with i think a hint of the infamous og kush "cardboard terps" (i think i sense that a lot in gsc, as well)...

but overall it has the generic weed smell, a tiny hint of the incensy "kush" smell i recognize in things like bubba kush and the chems, (and also i guess pretty much every modern hybrid these days...), but only a hint.

the high is the typical og kush thing, hard hitting up with a gradual descent to couch... really imo kinda the generic weed high, i'm not in love with the effect. it's what i think of when i think modern hybrid, and i'm bored of modern hybrids.

i figured this would be exactly the case, but it's always good to have points of reference.

lol jokes aside, i usually go through a half a gram per day, if that... i used to prolly do one gram + at the heaviest, when i was in pain from work a lot.... a whole lotta chem 91 hybrids did the trick.

but damn, i'd have to REALLY try to get to those levels.

on a side note, my edibles tolerance is always really high... even if i'm on a tolerance break, it takes like 50 milligrams of thc to feel anything, and prolly over a hundred mg to get nicely high and 250 mg to get royally smacked.

i've eaten a gram of distillate in one go, i don't remember it... this was years ago, i wonder if i have a report...
 
Smoking my own creation right now, DEEP SENSE, which is Sinai landrace x acai gelato.

I normally breed strains that are more landrace based, but the acai gelato did really well 2 years ago and all 7 of my crosses turned out amazing!

My personal fav though was my cut of Alaskan thunderfuck x acai gelato aka ALASKAN PIE.

All is f3 now and I'm on to other projects but I still have lbs of flower and sauce from that project lol
 
Just picked up 5g zkittlez on left and 5g Banana Cake on right



and put in Mason Jars below - same as above - zkittlez on left and Banana Cake on right



Going to make this batch last at least 4 days or am going to try my best.
