My mainly German heritage ensures that I too have freckles, and the bit of Italian allows for a pretty good tan.

I have lived in Deutschland in Berlin in a very cool old building. We used candles and the heat was generated from coal. I had to get it from the basement and there were rats, which wasn't a big deal.
