All I gotta say is check out Ritchie Hawtin!
He makes Donald Glaude sound fluffy.

Hopefully the Plastikman will throw down a Hard Techno set instead of his more recent Minimal sets.

Coincidently, my boy just mentioned to me something about Plastikman today. He said he was raw. What's his style and how bout that Ritchie Hawtin?????

Plastikman and Ritchie Hawtin are the same person.
He's well known for his Decks, Efx, and 909 sets.

But now it's Decks, Efx, 909, and Final Scratch. He definitely throws the roof off like no other.
If he lays it down hard........then his set will be raw.

If he goes minimal, then his set might be dissapointing.

It's the Hard edged techno is what made Ritchie Hawtin famous in the first place!

If you have a way to d/l music you can check out a track that he produced called Orange-Minus .

Or

Look for his live sets from TimeWarp and from Amsterdam on Halloween.
 
listening to the Ultra website is insane. I'm hyped for this event just from listening to their website.

And I was also wondering who all are only going just for Ultra 6 (the Saturday event only)??? Me & my peoples are DEFINITELY coming for Ultra, but we're also coming for a couple of the exclusive parties too and to hangout in South Beach again

Sorry to say, but I think you're fibbing mister. You never found us? Explain that to me, tathra, and trippies who were walking around the entire fountain screaming Bluelight on the top of our lungs. (which btw, I lost my voice thanks to that)

P.S. I will stand by Donald Glaude until the end. He is a great performer. Not the best, definately not up to the likes of RITM, etc. But still gets my adrenaline pumping anyday.

Miami Police do not give a shit. Still, I would not piss them off or do anything right in front of them, but chances are they will leave you alone even if you do.

Its one of the many things I love about living in Miami.

At the Phish shows, ppl were smoking, tripping, rolling right in front of the cops and I do not think there were any drug arrests.

I'd love to go and see the rest of the conference, but I have a seminar a week before for work :X , and then I'm on vacation in Jamaica the week after. I'll just make it to Ultra :\

You better knock on wood after that statement ;)

Miami's far from lenient on drugs, tolerant to a certain degree as they don't have the resouces to bust every person whos eyes are rolling in the back of their head 8( .
 
agreed, knock on wood. but its not a resource issue, its that they just dont care-obviously, u cant arrest every drug user at a phish show, but I did not even see 1 arrest (To be clear-Im talking about City of Miami cops; the other local departments are an entirely diff story).
