That's the fountain by the water surrounded by pink paving. Last year there was a stage on the bay side and another on the opposite side. We don't know if the layout will be the same this year.

Now, look at the water's edge to the left of the fountain. There's a grove of palm trees visible. They had a small beach stage there last year. There's a low concrete wall there that separates the paved area around the fountain from the sandy beachy area. It's a good place for photos and because the levels change they won't have a stage right there.

Let's make that the meeting point. Carry something blue in your hand (Gatorade, blinky, bandana, parrot, you figure it out).
3:00 p.m. and a second one at 6:00 for latecomers and those too 'tarded to mind their watches.

That sounds like a great plan to me. I'll be ther both 3 and 6pm. Wearing something blue would definitely give it away. Looking forward to it.

The detroit legend makes his 1st ever conference appearance for what will undoubtedly be one of the parties of the week!

The infamous conference party in it's 3rd year. Expect it to be packed!

what do you guys think about the Ultra website??? music is good as usual...but the site itself is lacking...every year. the best was from the year before last..had cool downloads for your computer, wallpapers, pictures from previous ultras....this year...the archive area is there but inaccesable...why even have one?? just think that with all the money they make off of all of us they could put up a better website. :\
 
Sorry to say, but I think you're fibbing mister. You never found us? Explain that to me, tathra, and trippies who were walking around the entire fountain screaming Bluelight on the top of our lungs. (which btw, I lost my voice thanks to that)

I don't know what the deal with that was. I wandered around the fountain at least twice and didn't hear a thing...and I was dead sober. But then again, I am pretty oblivious to the world as it is so I may very well have walked right past you guys.

I just got my tickets down to G'ville and have my ride lined up for Miami, so it looks like I'll be hitting this up barring any unforseen mishaps.

With all these parties going on in Miami over the weekend, does anybody know if there is anything psytrance oriented? After a twelve hours of dance music I'm going to need some nice dark beats to stomp to to level me off.
 
hey guys, I'll be wearing blue UFOs with a blue visor and a blue adidas shirt.... if u can figure it out, I'll wear a sign that say bluelighters suck.... hahaha, this is going to be the best week of my life.

weak. i've seen both of them live and i definitely think donald glaude is the better performer.

at any rate, WMC activities own every year. the international top acts and most promising up-and-comers always showcase the events. check it out if you have the funds.

Doondog is easy to spot-out. He'll be the little skinny kid with all the tattoos.
 
Just a heads up. All of the hotels that are across bayfront park all suck. The only one that is really nice is the Intercontinental. I suggest you get a room a little further and just take a cab. Trust me i'm from miami, just a warning. Now if there are any fine femals going then I'm sure either doondog or myself can make arrangements at our houses.
 
3 weeks to go right, HOLLA!! I'm crazy excited!! I need this party. Other parties/events don't phase me as much as BIG events like this Ultra & the entire WMC Conference does so I'm entirely ready and anxiously waiting for this to happen.

Hotel reservation: DONE
Rental Car reservation: DONE
Only 2 major things left are FINALLY confirming exactly how many people are definitely going and secondly purchasing our tickets

i'm from south florida...i stay at the Ramada Dupont Center EVERY YEAR!!! it does not suck..it's a nice hotel. and it's right across from bayfront park.

i dont know anybody either, and have never met anybody new at a meetup. people are always like, "so, who are you on bluelight?" and i reply, "tathra." then they ask, "who?" :\

that wont stop me from trying though, maybe it'll all be different this time... with the greenlighter wet tshirt contest and all ;)
