I've had psychosis from taking speed and it's absolutely nothing like a psychedelic experience. No similarity at all. None of the euphoria, laughter, emotional catharsis.

Is psychosis from speed from the speed itself or the lack of sleep caused by taking the speed?

Is psychosis from speed from the speed itself or the lack of sleep caused by taking the speed?

Or maybe both? The primary cause may be lack of sleep, but the dopaminergic enhancement from the speed could enhance these symptoms.
