I don't know how this thread has survived this long, but these sort of "how do I get my doctor to prescribe X medication" threads are not allowed per the forum guidelines (linked in my signature.)

Just be happy with the 7.5s they're planning on prescribing, as far as pain relief goes that should be more than adequate.
