Opioids Wisdom Teeth Pain Killers

In a week I have to go to the dentist to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. They said they're going to give me Vicodin for the pain, thing is I'm not really that fond of Vicodin (It gives me an upset stomach). I actually prefer opiates. I plan on telling my dentist the upset stomach part. What should I try to get instead? Morphine is my first choice but I really doubt they're going to give me that, being as I'm a minor. What kind of opiate do you think I could get them to give me. Also try to post a good reason I could use if ask for anything specific.

When I got all four of my wisdom teeth out, I got oxycodone, which is pretty similar but slightly stronger than hydrocodone (vicodin.)

Are you the same Amy who posted a litter earlier trying to sell people drugs?

How is it possible that you have opiate preferences yet you don't even know that vicodin is an opiate? Not trying to be a jerk, that just makes no sense.
 
Dentist will prescribe codeine, hydrocodone, or possibly percocet if you have a liberal dentist. Morphine aint gonna happen.

I wouldn't even bring it up, just be happy with what they prescribe. Raising an issue shouts drug seeking behavior.
 
You will most likey get prescribed either 5 or 7.5 mg hydrocodone. It sucked when i got my wisdom teeth pulled they couldn't give me anything since i was on suboxone. I almost convinced them to give me tramadol, since i've taken that on my sub before and it worked, but they called my suboxone doctor and they advised against it. I can't think of any opiate they would give you besides either vicodin or percocet. They aren't going to be giving you and oxys or morphine pills for something like getting your wisdom teeth out. I'd say don't complain about the vicodins to your doctor because you will likely get nothing/something really crappy instead.

My mom is the manager at a dentist office in clinton twp, i wonder if your gona be goin to her office lol

Codeine phosphate 60mg every 5 hours would work. It's too bad you can't take the Vicodin, the Tylenol and Hydrocodone is a very good combination because the tylenol helps the absorbtion of hydrocodone, aside from it's decent analgesia.
 
Most people I know got percs or generic which is oxycodone from a dentist, If you tell them that vics hurt you stomach you might get norco's
 
If vicodin upsets your stomach, chances are anything else along those lines will. Be happy with what you get or you'll end up with nothing. You really think you're the first person to try to get something stronger?
 
This makes me so angry. My friend got stupid T3's for his lousy wisdom teeth lol.
 
Just say hydrocodone is too strong for a pair of wisdom teeth...ask for codeine instead. Codeine phosphate tablets. He won't argue giving you something weaker.
 
Anyone had their wisdom teeth taken out while on suboxone?

What did you do for pain? I'm mainly worried about my tolerance, (having nothing take pain away is scaring me) not relapsing.

It already hurts VERY bad. Suboxone, Ibuprofen, Naproxen - nothing helps.

I did. They gave me naproxen and that's it. It sucked balls, brace yourself for some serious pain.
 
when i got mine out i got 3scripts T3's that didn't do shit, 1 script vic's got a rash, and one script percs which didn't help the pain any anyway since the whole time i was on 120mg methadone from a clinic lol,
OF course he didn't write all those scripts at once.. it was the junkie in me saying "i need more opiates" so i'd call him and he'd call me some into the pharmacy. 3x #30 T3,than.. 1x #30 5mg vic's and finally.. 1x #30 5mg percs (forget how much APAP is in all of those).

Im since off methadone and been on bupe 4 years.

ok done ninja editing. (or not so ninja afterall)

If they aren't causing you problems definitely wait to get them pulled. As for me, I was already in a lot of pain because of them, I got an infection from my bottom right wisdom tooth cutting into the back of my mouth and was in some terrible pain. Like seriously some of the worst pain I've ever had. Man, screw wisdom teeth. The only thing they are good for is a script for some vicos if you don't already do a lot of opiates, and i didn't even get that

im quoting myself to point out to others: DO NOT CONTACT ME (you all know who you are) AND ASK HOW TO GET SCRIPTS FROM DR'S THAT IS FOR YOU AND YOUR DR TO DECIDE, i won't help you scam your docs.. the reason i got all those meds i mentioned was cuz i had a huge tolerance and had methadone blocking them,THANK YOU. that was 5-6 years ago that i got them out.
 
Don't try & get ANYTHING. Asking for a specific pain killer is a wonderful way to make a doctor start suspecting you of drug-seeking behavior & having him/her just tell you "to try & use over the counter pain killers [such as Tylenol] to control the pain". Also, the reason you couldn't get prescribed Morphine for getting your Wisdom Teeth removed is because Morphine is used to treat pain that is WAY more intense than simply getting Wisdom Teeth removed ever causes. Someone corret me if I'm wrong, but there's absolutely no laws or anything that would make it harder for a minor to get prescribed Morphine or certain pain killers in general than it would for people who aren't minors to get prescribed them.
Also, there's definitely a good chance that a doctor would just tell you to stick with Vicodin because "an upset stomach" is a "standard side effect of any prescription pain medication"... If you really want to get prescribed something different, just say that Vicodin "gives you a really, really bad upset stomach" & ask "if there's any other medications that would work as well or almost as well for the pain that you'd be able to try taking instead?" ... No need to suggest a medication, since the doctor clearly knows a thing or two about them themselves. Chances are they'll give you either Tylenol 3s (Tylenol with Codeine) or Oxycodone (in 5mg pills) instead of Vicodin... Tylenol 3s are most likely though.
If you're looking for a pain med that will give you an awesome high or whatever, though, then you're certainly not going to get anything like that from something as minor as getting your Wisdom Teeth removed.
 
most people i know at school get the 7.5 vics or 5mg percocet. my sister got a bottle of liquid hydrocodone which was sexy cuz the quantity said 45 on the bottle and it was 7.5mg/500mg per 5ml ............so much tylenol
