Winter appreciation thread

You people are insane.

I was in Hobart for work a few weeks ago, my god WTF is wrong with those people? How did places like this ever come to be colonised??!! 8(
 
Took the new bike out today for a couple hours. Beautiful day in the sun, eating fish and chips and drinking cider. I fucking love Winter.
 
Was at Jolly's lookout up at Mt. Nebo today for a bbq lunch, came home via Wivenhoe down through the Brisbane Valley Hwy.

Such clear skies and clear views across the valley and out to Moreton Island.

Fresh, crisp air and a smokey bbq. Nice and warm standing around the fire from the bbq with a beer in hand.

Should have taken a camera with me though.

Days like this, I don't mind winter so much either :D

When I was little I used to love winter, curling up next to the fire while it rained and I watched tv in the warmth.

Now I'm in a house with broken heating, struggling to do everything I need to do while holding a doona around me for my dear life and I look out the window and the sky is blue and sunny, just like summer/spring but cold.

I think it has rained 3 times this year where I live and only once since winter started! It's BS. SERIOUSLY AUSTRALIA STOP WITH THE DROUGHT!

sounds awesome mate:) i spent a few hours at the parklands soaking it up once the skies cleared and had caught up with an old school friend who i hadn't seen in 6 years.

shotgun tray next trip you take;)
 
Yes still in Melbourne. And my all conquering ranga genes have given me a thick layer of ginger warmth.

How awesome are Winter boobs? I mean the ladies boobs are pretty good year round but she is the first to admit that cold weather does great things to her titties.

Loving winter, as per usual. Snuggly hoodies and pyjamas, warm doonas, hot chocolate, warm winter food. Come on guys, it doesn't get better than this <3 :)

Haha yes, I'm a whippersnapper. I normally strut around in a singlet and shorts if its anything above 10 degrees :P
 
winter ground swell and westerly winds... THE OTHER SIDE was cracking today....solid 4-5 foot. Bigger sets about 2-3 foot over head...3mm steamer amd your sweet as mustard...

Plus i enjoy turning the central heating on in the wet suit(doing a piss while walking out on the spit) and then flicking the trickle coming out your ankle at your mates....if you cant do that to your mate,than who can you do it to..(the japas i guess)
