Willie Nelson arrested 'for cannabis possession' at Border Patrol checkpoint

Well lacey you have to look at the fact that the cops know just how much shit will be thrown at them if they go hard on Willi for having drugs on him. Everyone who actually likes real country music will be very pissed off. That is alot of old folks who would not care at all if say someone like lindsay lohan or some other celebrity got caught but they would be pissed that the cops busted willie.

This isint the biggest thing that people in music have gotten off with by far. Take keith richards for example when he got busted back in 78 in toronto. He was originally charged with importing 22 grams of heroin into canada which is a pretty big charge. But it got bargained down to possesion and he got a fine and had to give a speach or 2 on the dangers of drugs. Coulda had something to do with the prime ministers wife partied with the stones too :\

Shit like this happens quite abit and it just depends on what kind of celebrity gets caught.
 
it aint the small penalty that bothers me all that much becuz at this point we all know thats how it is for celebrities.

its just that he seems to enjoy getting caught and almost like he TRIES to get caught just so he can make his point and "take a stand"....and im just sayin it aint much of a stand if you aint riskin shit.

It dont mean as much when you take that stand if the only consequences for it is a slap on the wrist. It seems like a meaningless gesture to me. I aint knockin the old man. Im just sayin he seems to willingly get caught each time like he tryna be the weed crusader or somethin, but it dont really mean much in the end thats all.
 
Or it could just be a 77 year old man who just doesn't give a fuck? Smoking that much weed and being that old tends to do that to you
