Bluelighter
Will she whisper to the winter,
Will she embrace her shadow self?
In pain she clips the splinters,
In vain I wish I could help.
In her I search for traces
Of warmth and distant places.
Instead I'm met with empty eyes,
A shallow form and fading cries.
I will avenge the loss she feels
Entwined within the coldest steel.
She peels her outer shell away,
Infected by darkness, words fail to convey.
Demons tore her into pieces,
Stray fragments on the gale.
Worn upon this winding road,
No shelter from the hail.
Will she embrace her shadow self?
In pain she clips the splinters,
In vain I wish I could help.
In her I search for traces
Of warmth and distant places.
Instead I'm met with empty eyes,
A shallow form and fading cries.
I will avenge the loss she feels
Entwined within the coldest steel.
She peels her outer shell away,
Infected by darkness, words fail to convey.
Demons tore her into pieces,
Stray fragments on the gale.
Worn upon this winding road,
No shelter from the hail.
