Will put you to sleep (Help for tweakers)

I used to luuurve being scattered

Funny you should say this, since so I do.....as long as I've got something to occupy my name. If I'm just laying in i get too restless and eventually annoyed at myself . A good gaming console (doesn't have to be fancy)? Something like Nintendo 64 - VINTAGE!

(well it was no Commodore 64 ;) hehe )

I used to luuurve being scattered, prob what separates a meth junkie from the rest, loving every part of the experience, scatterdness and all. I'd never take anything to sleep when I was coming down because I just loved the feeling. Anyway I take travacalm far too often with opies for it to work for sleeping ,,,,,:D

Agreed! I don't mind the sketchy feeling.....as long as I channel that energy intro something! For example; if I just stick in the house which I can do while smoking, so probs there. However if I'm just sitting on a couch watching movies i get very antsy and have to do something - even if I still feel like shit (generally get stomach issues which is not uncommon for most I should think!.

Makes me want to play some Goldeneye. :D

I don't know what was going on in the beginning of the this thread with people being accused of lying because they said doctors will prescribe Seroquel for sleep easily. It's true, many doctors will prescribe that or amitriptyline over benzodiazepines due to their abuse liability.

apparently i was dick sizing :p
its ok, i need all the help i can get haha.

just in case we get people planning to munch some of these meds without doing any research, seroquel and amitriptyline are more likely to induce some side effects that my seem strange to someone expecting to only feel drowsy.

if you are planning on taking anything to help you sleep after one or five nights on meth or similar, research as much as you can about the side effects you may experience from the medication you plan on taking as depending on the conditions of your bender, you could be much more likely to encounter certain side effects after binging on some drugs combined with sleep deprivation and other common nastys that most people will forget when partying. like vitamin depletion, dehydration and poor nutrition.

don't panic when you read them, but keep the info in the back of your mind, it will help alot dealing with any unexpected side effects if they aren't so unexpected :)

Has anyone tried smoking/IV'ing some heroin then smoking some marijuana straight after? Works flawlessly for me everytime.

Other then the synergy of the depressive properties (and admittedly I haven't tried it myself! :) ) at a guess I would think the weed's headfuck would overshadow the drop ( and it's eurphoria)

+1
While I agree, as humans we need to equalify/quantify in order to make sense of the world. Same reasoning an "apply" is said as an "apply" - theses random sounds have meaning. (or did I miss the whole [sarcastic?] point lol

Reminds me of a mate of mine at Uni (Majored in Pathology) and was convinced he has a brain tumour......he doesn't but the class had a laughs at this expense =D

This this is great (for you ;), i guess). However I would have though, that is, alarm bells should be ringing. No??

Not implying that you doctor shop (don't take offence!) however that's extremely irresponsibly of the GP do write so many scripts!

Having said that, if you're in that much pain (pain which is debilitating, or god forbid deaht) then there are other medications

Slightly offtopic My favorate benzone - Diazepam

Having said that favourite when coming down - Diazepam

P.S ; while I agree with you, 'labels' are socialities way 'nicely, picking up clicks have cause no much destruction around the world, from wor

When you've spent 50 straight days in a psych ward they don't hesitate to prescribe anti-psychotics, mood stabilisers and anti-d's. Plus they love to give these as opposed to the more addictive medications for sleep such as benzodiazepines or Z-class sleepers.

My psychiatrist had me on a cocktail of 6mg alprazolam, 40mg diazepam, 20mg temazepam, 1000mg seroquel, 600mg sodium valproate and 20mg escitalopram daily with 15mg nitrazepam as needed...

I wasn't doctor shopping, that was what I was gradually increased to.

As for labels i've been labelled with borderline personality disorder, rapid cycling bi-polar disorder (type II), chronic refractory free floating anxiety disorder, sleep disorder/insomnia, panic disorder...

I'm still gonna roll with being next to normal haha.

No alarm bells will ring about doctor shopping in regards to seroquel anyway as it's totally non-addictive.

fark thats pretty epic.
if you've come off all of that shit for the better, props to you man.
if you're still going through it all, props still the same lol. can only hope with a med list like that, that it actually helped you in some way.

i went through low dose anti psychotics to try and treat anxiety for a short period and even that sucked balls, i couldn't imagine being on a cocktail like that!

I'm only on 20mg escitalopram and 600mg sodium valproate now.

Lets just say getting off that amount of benzo's was hell... It's nice to have cognitive function back though. And the ability to remember shit... Getting off that and all that seroquel was like coming out of a coma, full zombie.

GPs are so hell bent on not prescribing 'addictive' drugs that as long as its not addictive or fun, they dont mind prescribing it.
especially in the case of insomnia which is a tricky thing to treat without going certain routes.
when i was prescribed seroquel it was as though it was as common as buying panadol at a supermarket - no discussions of the dangers or dosage required or similar.

i know it doesn't directly relate to this thread lol, but its sad how little effort some GPs put in to addressing the actual issue at hand, as long as they cover their ass and dont prescribe drugs in certain watched classes, its all good in the hood for them.

Hey misk, what dose did the doctor prescribe to you for seroquel?

I reckon seroquel at low doses (25-100mg) is the best there is for sleep.

thelastpsychiatrist.com/2007/07/the_most_important_article_on.html

Seroquel at low doses doesn't act as an antipsychotic - it acts as a really strong antihistamine, according to the article above and journals.

All I know is I smoked 8 medium pipes of shard and had nice relaxed high since 6 pm. Took 3 5 mg vals and no sleep yet. Dot want to eat mor as only 4 left for tomorrow work.

Gues maybe I should try this seroqel.

lol. 15mg of val has nothing on the power of shardies yo.

if u wana get some sleep after sharding it up with vals u'd need at least like 30-50mg + maybe a booze or two.

but yeah like you said

SEROQEL!!!!! for the winnnn

Yehh I thought I wudv been fine but i sepent the last couple weeks drinking heavy as per normal on holidays and weekends. You're right heddah 15 mg ain't shit on it's own.

I can't drink from mon - thurs as per my deal with my fiancé. So of to doc on lunch break. I am sure if I tell him what I have been doing in Thailand (ice, Chang beer, sangsom rum, and 100 mg of Diaz per day) he will realize l need something to get back to daily work life + I won't ask for benzos or opies. Unless of course he offers for some bizarre reason.

Hope your sound asleep heddah now, cause I am definitely not until at least 7pm tomorrow.

Man last time i was shooting ritalin 75mg of seroquel didnt even cause me to lose conscience..... Any serious tweakers want something more powerful than that, more like 300mg of diazepam. Or clonazepam, but that shit makes my life turn upside down :S for about as long as my stash lasts.

I've unapproved a post that was too close to detailing how to get Seroquel from a doctor. Just because it's not a 'fun' drug, doesn't mean we can be explicit about how to get it.

This is just bad advice and its certainly not true.
Dont take seroquel for sleep people unless you are schizo or bi-polar its really bad for you with long term sides that are permanent.

Check out the "Ritalin or Dexamphetamine better??" thread. I wrote something about Seroquel.

^ Yeah very informative HR info there.... NOT!
Seroquel after amphetamines is not a good idea for many reasons unless you are tripping out but its going to make your dopamine levels crash even more.
