"Cosying up" is surely a stretch. Nobody in the USA or Western Europe wants to get their legs blown off to protect Ukraine's borders. I'd guess that you're in that boat yourself since you're posting here rather than digging a ditch in the Donbass. Being cordial to Putin in an attempt to stop the war is a good thing, on balance.

Whereas Western powers arming Jihadis has resulted in multiple atrocities , 9/11 , 7/7, the Manchester bombing, and Lord knows how many in the Middle East itself

Russia has the GDP of Italy, it isn't the powerhouse it was in the USSR days, I'm sceptical that their nukes are even still functional

I've also watched the videos of Putin and Trump engaging in homosexual intercourse, if anything, it looks to me that Trump was the "top"

Nah, Trump is Putins little bitch and willingly takes it in the face.

Russia may not be the 'powerhouse' it was and wants to be, but I'd still back Putin in a scrap.

We have created set of societies where it is generally easier to contribute positively to society by messing up toxic, hostile elements than creating anything new, as they are so many and everywhere. Because destroying is always easier anyway. Baffling thought.

But maybe it could be also perceived that it is just creating things like they were always planned to be, before someone concluded it is not producing enough income.
 
First time in finnish history, government has refused to get on with civil motion, that parliament voted in. Civil motion suggested criminalizing restorative therapies (for gays etc.). They are going sideways with both representative and straight democracy.

I am not up-to-date with how it is developing, but government either is trying or managed to get through law that forbids certain important academic union to support research that is "against finnish state or policies of finnish state". Truth be damned, here comes fascism.
 
Unfortunately I don't think right wing governments are sympathetic to drug use. Lots of right wing stuff about at the moment due to the incompetence of the government in power.

The only good thing right wing stuff does is standing up to the gender nonsense
