Hello,

im just wondering, i want to try heroin... but i do not want to get addictive to it, iv tried many drugs and only drugs i do often is pills on friday night and weed daily.

i want to try every drug in my lifetime and this is the main one that i do want to try... it sounds interesting but i do not want to turn out a smack head trying it or anything like that.

Its hard to explain... i mite be stupid to even want to try it?

do you believe everything you hear?

if you try it once, you will become addicted man, don't do it

no i'm kidding

you can try heroin without getting addicted just don't slip and continue trying it more than you plan

i've done heroin 3 times about 2 1/2 months ago for the first times and i'm not addicted! i havent touched that shit since february 5th. living proof!

^ Exactly I feel the same way as well... heroin just has this stigma to it. Personally I feel that methamphetamine is much more addictive than heroin, and infinitely worse for your body as well. I doubt trying it once will have you instantly hooked.

Having been addicted to heroin - I much rather would have never tried it!

I was always one that "wasn't addicted" to all the shit I've done, including meth. One day those "I'll nevers" might start being "well maybe's"! Be VERY careful.

You are all wrong!!! The D.A.R.E. program is the most reliable and honest source of information on the planet!! If you try it once you will instantly become addicted and prostituting yourself out, just so you can score your next hit.

....just kidding. No drug on this planet will create an instant dependence. A drug has to be taken regularly for a long duration to create a real full-blown addiction.

Just to clear this up, you can not get physically addicted to any known drug in one hit, BUT (I haven't tried heroin before, so this is some speculation, but I think its reasonable) if you are prone to getting mentally hooked on shit, I'd suggest not trying it or at least making sure you only buy enough for one go and getting your mates or something to make sure you can't get any more any time soon.

Amen. Benzos are probably the most addictive substance on the planet and doctors hand it out like candy. And benzo withdrawal is physical torture.

In my personal experience I've actually found heroin to be less addicting than some other opioids. I find it to be sedating and it makes me nod even in doses as low as 20mg (of pure). It's very nice to nod, but I find drugs like oxycodone and fentanyl to be more addicting because they are more stimulating, so I can be more of a functioning addict on them.

For me the most addicting opioids are fentanyl, oxycodone, and hydomorphone.

Also, I would like to make it clear that I am just stating my personal experience here. Many people find heroin to be quite addicting. It's a myth that you will get addicted from trying it once, but you might find you like it quite a bit and will be tempted to do it again.

Yes, it's easy to try a new drug and not become addicted. I've played with H about 6 times now over 3+ months. Just remind yourself that it is highly addictive and infrequent use is the only way to ensure you stay safe.

It's all about what YOU think you can handle. What's your method of administration? Do you have an addictive personality? Have you tried something once before and never touched it again? Why are you wanting to try it? Are you in a good state of mind to try something addictive like heroin?

I hope you at least asked yourself some of those questions before you take it. Just make sure you don't take it for the wrong reasons, and my reccomendation is to not even touch it again for a long time before you try it again...shit don't even have it near you. You may find you like it a little more than you expected ;)

I was addicted to that shit for a few months, but I realized I was addicted early thanks to the people in my life, and I haven't used it in over 2 years. I think heroin is a pretty dangerous drug. I might get bashed for saying that in here but it's just my opinion after i tried it myself. I would never shoot heroin either by the way. After that you're knee deep in the game..you better know what you're doin ;)

sure some people don't get addicted, but some people do. no one the internet is exactaly the same as you therefore no one here can tell you if you will get addicted or not.

some people can do H a few times and then not touch it for month. others, will take it once and like it a lot, then do it the next day etc.

if you are set on trying it, set some rules for yourself before hand. the three day limit is a good place to start- never do it more than three days in a row, and if you do, be sure to take three days off. this will help to not build a dependency or tolerance.

if you make rules and you don't allow yourself to break them under any circumstances then you will be able to control your use. otherwise, you will probably become addicted.
