Wild west thc

it gets metabolized best with fats so i'm not really sure how products without fat, like gummies and drinks, are supposed to work.

my guess would be that if you had a drink on an empty stomach you might not feel it at all, but if you had the same drink with a pb&j sandwich then it could hit for full effect

At first, I thought that too. Because cannabinoids are fat soluble. But with food, no food, fatty food, etc. didn't seem to make a difference. It was all pretty much a placebo effect until I had these guys. I've tested it many times too lol.

could be shady business, even in a legal market there's so much nonsense going on

The latest data from Health Canada has now laid bare the extent of the issue. Of the 50 legal samples examined for THC levels, heavy metals, pesticide residues, mycotoxins and microbial contaminants, 14 products (28%) had 70–80% of the labeled THC amount.

Furthermore, 10 products (20%) had less than 70% of the stated THC content, and only 26 products (52%) contained at least 80% of the declared THC amount.

my main ROA is edibles, I've bought a lot of them and take them daily at pretty decent doses.

I'd been constantly getting batches with hot spots in the them, I'd buy 1000mg chocolate bars, or 1000mg bags of gummies.

1 of the main issues I think is that the quality control is shit and they simply don't mix the THC well enough through the product, so occasionally the same gummie will put me to bed, and other times I will feel nothing at all.

I got fed up with it, I've just switched to RSO which I warm and mix with oil and then use a dropper to dose, I'm finding this much more consistent.

next time I restock I'm going to buy resin or rosin and decarb it myself before making the same oil, that way I get a better choice of strain to pick from.

lack of strain choice is the biggest issue in the UK for edibles, you never know what you're getting unless you buy from certain vendors but they have pretty poor hot spot control in my experience.
