young love is making me smile, being such an old timer these days.

i'm a sap, but I love getting a happy hearing about budding relationships, even if it's someone I don't know well, or don't even like :D

I completed the office cake baking challenge by making brownies in our toaster oven. They were good, but I think I should have used almonds instead of walnuts.

my bfs coming to dinner tonight to meet the family (theyve met him before but not since hes got off the pipe) and im doing lamb shanks in the crockpot and chocolate pudding afterwards
im hoping it will impress evryone including my bf who i think mum and my brother will like

after getting mediocre results in uni for the last 2 years, i got 100% in two midsemesters! worth 25% and 30%!

That means it's almost impossible to fail either of the subjects!

i win :D.

In one of them we had another small assesment task, and i am ranked equal first with one other guy, out of 122.

as a dumbass, i'm over the moon!

I'm also smiling because of how awesome Cog were last night. Even though there was no encore [my friend who's seen them four times now said they never have all the times he's seen them] it was absolutely amazing.
I had the chance to properly hang out with two good friends and one of their girl's over luscious cocktails beforehand. She's a really tops person, and I don't often click with girls. Such a great night!
 
I got my NIN tickets last week, they're one section farther back then I had last time but still pretty solid, looking forward to the show, except I prefer his 90's stuff over the recent tunes.

I impressed my boss and another principle investigator with a new theory I'm developing. I have to bang out a presentation for next thursday hopefully it goes well. Apparently my gig is like the ideal line of work for ENTP's.

Tommorow marks the beginning of a three day weekend, I'm going out to my lake for the first time this season, should be good times, and it will be nice to come back to a 4 day work week. But I have to turn down a free ticket to some comedy show that would have been a good time.

There's a new girl working on my floow who I might chat up, she's cute, but gossip spreads like wildfire in my department as well as my building so it's probably best not to get involved. I have to break the habit of getting involved with crazies.

I'm picking up the guitar again now that I have some free time.
 
this week, in the first two days of taking on some new tasks at work, i made $100 in bonuses :D
 
I'm seeing my half brother for the first time in 16 years today. Also, some family feuding seems to be coming to an end - finally.

Lots of smiles for me. :D
