Why you smiling son? Version Abe Froman, the sausage king of New York

Oh shit yeah bro, over 2000 species of Euphorbia, HUGE Genus. There are tonnes of succulent ones, this isn't my first one either.

I just googled peplus and thats one thats not a problem up here, I wasnt familiar with it :)

NO! The sap is toxic in heaps of Euphorbias, and its not in the Cactacea family thus therefore not a cactus :)

Echinopsis pachanoi (San Pedro), Echinopsis peruviana (Peruvian Torch), and Lophophora williamsii (Peyote) are the cactus' you're looking for if you are interested in tripping.

The other half dragged me into a jewelry store yesterday when we were supposed to be shopping for other things, and he called over the shop assistant and they both made me try on some rings. My god, i giggled like a silly little girl and i got really nervous. I found some gorgeous rings though.... he is lucky i love white gold too hahaha. But yeah, that was a nice experience. We talk about marriage but i had no idea he was keen for it to happen so soon. But i guess 3 years is 3 years.... he recently became supervisor at his work, so now he is on great money and over the moon with life in general so he wants to take that next step. I do of course as well, but for some reason the whole thing scares me. Maybe it's the realization i am grown up now... time to do adult things....=D :D

3...2...1... breeder ;)

No seriously, that would have been a prefect time for him to break up with you. Epic owanage like that doesnt happen too often. Lifes all missed opportunities really

Anyway, back to my non-adult life

good luck with the boyfriend and things S, sounds like your in a happy place :). hope your feelin a bit better, my sickness stuck around for a while not including the shit on top of that

I had an epic weekend despite sickness threatening to dampen things. It involved paint, eggs bennedict, walking hand-in-hand, a road-trip, This American Life, a stupid dog and a sneaky ass cat, pancakes with fruit natural yoghurt and cinnamon, port, Thai red duck curry, Drapht, N. E. R. D., 3 year old cheddar and many many many smiles.

I woke up at 3:30am this morning, but amazingly I'm going to class that as a big fat smile. I also received my new phone at work today so I have new-gadget-grins to boot. :D<3

i went to the winter magic festival in katoomba on saturday.
im still smiling from all the cool stuff i saw.
katoomba is seriously the best place. i want to move there.

I'm due for a new car soon. I'm after a Hilux 4x4, manual, dual cab and runs on diesel. Well I checked out a local dealership this afternoon and found almost* exactly what I wanted plus a canopy, a UHF radio and a towbar. Only about 100000km on it, surprisingly. I think I'm going to own it some day soon.

*It was stock white rather than, say, black.

^This gave me a big ol' smile. Advertising can be awesome. :)

  • I'm eating three-year-old cheddar and crackers for dinner cos' I'm fucking badass. And lazy.
  • Listening to This American Life and loving on Ira Glass.
  • Smelling absolutelyfuckingorgasmic thanks to a friend sending me two solid perfumes [American Cream which I'm wearing now, and Silky Underwear] and burning a beautiful banana soy tart in my oil burner.

Big smiles abound tonight. :D

I'm just missing one thing.. sigh. :|<3

^Brisbane's a nice place to live...

I had an 'aunt-off' with a coworker today, showing pictures and sharing stories of our nieces, which was fun. Mine's cuter than hers, naturally :D

I also bought a top which I hated right after I bought it, but now think is quite nice, and a new pair of sunnies, and just found out I can go back and get another pair for free. Anyone who knows me will know how prone I am to losing sunnies, so this is a super bonus!

Oh, and we won some business at work yesterday that came out of the calling I've been doing, and my boss told me to go out for a nice dinner with the boy on the company, and I'm getting a massage on the weekend - a promotional thing for my favourite perfume: $40 for a 50 minute massage done with the perfume's essential oils, free samples & a $40 voucher towards buying any of the range!
