5 and a half years anniversary today with the boy,

I don't have to work tonight. :)

I worked last night with this disgusting obese guy who I really don't like, he's just feral. Anyway he was telling this other guy a story I overheard of a time 15 years ago when he was arrested trying to pick up a street hooker who was an undercover cop. Made me laugh.
 
Its nearly FRIDAY and a LONG WEEKEND. And the week after the Queens Bday holiday I have an RDO so two short weeks in a row! Yay!

Also I've been geeking it up learning new stuffs about Adobe Illustrator. Yay!
 
I bought a maaad Bahco Force 530mm Bush Saw today...

It is so awesome, I love Bahco tools and have heaps of them. Really good quality (Swedish).

My smile is that I realised today that I'm a whole lot more enthused about my job than I expected to be. It's a nice change from the last 10 months of temping admin styles to actually be feeling somewhat challenged and invigorated at work.

And it's a long weekend coming up with Hybrid and my first paid public holiday in far too long.

My smile was the overnight visit I had from a really really close friend and his girlfriend; they're traveling down the coast of Qld back to Sydney and stayed last night. We went to the local strip of Asian restaurants and got some food, wine and had a fantastic catch up. I see him rarely but have known him for 10 years, and we affectionately call each other fuckface. <3

Couple that with an amazing phone conversation to end my evening and i'm smiling so hard right now. :)

I am smiling cus I have non alcoholic cosmo's and a bunch of friends waiting for me so we can go and see SITC... And I dont even care for the movie !!
 
That little Mexican kid who came up with the idea of flat bottom Tacos is a fucking genius.

I hope the folks at Old El Paso make sure his family doesn't have to but another Carona or avacado for the rest of his life.

And a big smile for a 4 day weekend.

Saturday night party with VIP room and hefty bar tab is most exciting.... long time between talking cod shit.....:D


And a silk purse full of shiney coins to the good persons at logitech...........

Its my roster day off! Going out for some fine Asian lunch with the family and get to spend it with my baby, couldn't be happier.
 
gave a presentation for members of a club in south auckland on methamphetamine addiction and the signs 'ur kids on meth', told my story, read one of my poems and answered questions from the audience - knees knocking but i did it!
oh and i got a free dinner!
 
I'm becoming content with singledom again, after a week of confusion and unrest.
 
I am going to the Lowenbrau tonight. I will be eating many sausages and drinking many Franziskanners. w00t!
 
Ah yeah think someone told me about it after the last time I was in Sydney, that's a few years ago now though.
 
My dad found a set of watercolour paints on Ebay that he wanted and thought I could get for him at a steal but when I was out bid in the last 30 seconds he was all sad. Like he was fully moping really badly :(

But then I got an email and the seller listed a second chance auction for me because he had more of the paint sets so dad is is stoked! So I bought them for the price I last bidded, Dad was virtually dancing when he was vaccuming before. I try my best dad :)
