i found a documentary on metallica at the video store that i didnt even know existed ('reflections') - woohoo, a DVD on them that i havnt already seen!
ive just finished a satisfying horror movie marathon too
anyone is welcome to call me a geek at this point :D
 
no ones bn happy since i last posted in here last night? that shud go in the frown thread!
oh well, im happy cos i took the dogs (mums pitbull, lola, and my rottwelier, ozzy) to this gorgeous beach with a river flowing into it where lola often swims
ive bn wanting ozzy to swim for awhile but hes bn very cautious about water (hes 5 months old)
however today, lola was getting bothered by him jumping at her and rarking her up so she kept jumping in the river
suddenly ozzy plunged in after her and next thing they were swimming together and he was in and out of the water, no longer scared
it made me so happy!
 
i just been on the frown thread,n so i feel somewhat contridicted of myself by jumping over here now... but im glad breakabeat is all good:) and could also smile coz tha squildrenz have been somewhat well behaved today..oh shit touch wood:\
 
DJ Comp @ Miss Libertines on Friday night. Best music I've been out to in ages.

And a big nerd just came and gave me $40 for a DSL modem I didn't want anymore. He did spend some time asking me about my place so I was worried he was casing it for a burglary but I couldn't see him breaking in. =D

AND English commentary on the Iraq vs Aus qualifier just starting on the P2P feed.
 
My 10 months old Nephew started crawling last week and today he has started pulling himself up to stand. Hehe

He will be buying me beers in no time :D
 
The other half and I went shopping today at Knox shopping center and spoiled ourselves rotten!!

We now have added new awesome garments to our wardrobes, i bought myself some awesome hiking boots to doof in and heaps other much needed things clothing wise. And i have now found my new most favorite clothing store - Ishka. Man that place has some awesome stuff! Very good prices too. Im wrapped! I don't generally enjoy shopping, and hate spending all day doing it. I managed to get everything i needed from the one place. :D The boyfriend was relieved as well hahah.
 
I bought an awesome print at the Bondi markets today - very minimalist, red background with a cute little cartoon of two people with their heads bowed together and a butterfly rising up from them.

The artist has a story for every work he does, and said this one was called "Love" and symbolises love, the difficulty that sometimes comes with it, the strength that grows from it, and the path it can take you on.

It's gorgeous and now on the wall opposite our bed <3

OMG YAY!!!

Some random person I don't know from a bar of soap just sent me a message on another site to tell me his friend saw me do spoken word on channel 31 and he liked it! I didn't even know I was ON tv (community tv but shut up it's still tv lol)!!!

EXCITEMENT REIGNS!!!!!!!! :D
 
The boy and I get to go away for the weekend - YAY!!

He's on call for work basically 24/7, and can't really be more than about half an hour away from work in case some disaster happens, so we've not been out of Sydney together since October :\

But by some miracle he got the ok to go away this long weekend, so we're going camping out at Oberon, to do the whole Janolan caves and surrounds thing and basically just chill out for the weekend - I'm so excited!

It's going to be fucking cold, though...
 
Hey Joannie my family and I used to go to Oberon a bit and it's quite a beautiful place :)

It snowed the last time we were there so it does get damn cold!
 
My bosses have left today to spend the next month in their house in the south of France..... more pressure here at work is traded by the increased income I will earn being the number 1.... hooray for capitalism! :D


One more day before a long needed 4 day weekend.
Daddy time Friday plus mates wife's birthday night out on Saturday.


Throw some garden-time into the mix (with compulsary hammock time) and hopefully this will mean the next nine sleeps will rapidly evapourate and I can fly once again.<3
 
My sister is back from overseas and is hopefully going to visit melb soon.

I also booked flights to go to sydney for a weekend in July.

They're having a fetish special on Hack [my fave' Triple J program] all this week and tonight's program was centreing on BDSM, and golden showers in particular.
