why they call it rolling

Well then, why they call it rolling aside can anyone relate to this kind of experience?

I have been using this drug for a while so I am not that surprised but I often badly want to believe there is some substance to the things I pick up on...

The prospect that the drug is like a window and not just something fake.

Sometimes I can swear the music is speaking to me, like directly to me. In languages I can understand. Giving me direction....

Again I would like to think there is substance to any of these things or if it is all an illusion with no specific value.

Sure I can make of it what I want but I don't really like the idea of living in la-la land with no real basis.

My heart is telling me it's real but my brain isn't so sure ;)

^This is amazing.

I also thought it was called rolling because of the waves of euphoria that roll over you.

I get that a lot, especially when I am really enjoying the music. It's like there is some sort of special connection between you and the music, some sort of primordial communication or something.

My own theory is that in modern society we have largely lost the ability to interact with the more primitive aspects of our personality due to competitive pressures. MDMA and electronic music counteracts this by letting you groove out to some wild music without any other care in the world.

I <3 MDMA. :D

I think it stems from how peoples eyes can roll around when they are on mdma...but it can mean anything you want it to mean

If you think about the names of drug experiences, they typically describe the experience. Tripping for example is called that because the experience can be described as going on a trip or a personal journey.

"because your eyes roll back in your head" or "the pills are round" sounds like NEWB shit to me. Sorry.

to me i think its called that because all of the good feelings are "rolling all over and around you like a wave of pure happiness is hitting or rolling all over you :)

I don't care what anyone says drugs activate dormant parts of the conscious and subconscious.

i remember one of my first times i ever took mdma in a night club i couldn't see for shit - my mate handed me a big bag of weed and asked me to roll a joint for him. after 50 attempts to make a joint i gave up. when he asked me what i was doing i told him - dude i've been "rolling" hard for like 5 hours and i still can't do it. =D

Go up, go down, go back up, go back down, really intense, less intense, more intense again, less intense again....

I love riding the highs and lows of MDMA :)
