When the 2-CT compounds find their way into the 5-HT2a, why does the sulfur cause such strong visual effect? It is obviously larger, and capable of multiple oxidation states, but the bulkiness is nothing that can't be mimicked by alkyl groups and the oxidation states not relevant in a covalent bond. It is more electropositive than oxygen, but less than a plain alkyl group. Whats the deal?
