Phenethylamines Why Mescaline Is Not Found On the Black Market

So Ehrlich's test gives a positive result for indole-based compounds. It creates a charge-transfer complex that creates dark purples and blues. The morpholide would DEFINITELY give a false positive. You'd get a positive out of anything in TiHKAL. I'm thinking that its meant to tell you if your LSD is or isn't a DOx. Thats all I could see it useful for, really.

Your LSD could still be an obsucre LSx or even LSA and you'd be none the wiser.

it is strange that the blotters are larger. Which ones did you eat that had a different effect?

I and many other experienced LSD users have eaten many different types of Hoffmans and all seemed to be LSD dosed a little higher than normal. It feels like LSD to me though. I am very interested in what types of results a real chemist could get testing these in a lab.

You are not the first person that has said something is strange about the Hoffmans. But LSD gives me different effects nearly every time I eat it, even with the same blotter.
Set and setting play a HUGE role in its effects.
 
I ate the ones with the text "original" and the LSD formula on the backside. With really bitter taste, pixelated print, and large size. About 8x8mm.
 
Yeah well, the same blotters had also been tested and showed to contain LSD. But I'm not sure which method was used in the testing, it could also have been a reagent test.

Also the effects were nothing like any DOx chemical. The bitter taste could have been from the solvent, the ink, the paper or any number of things. Or perhaps LSM does taste bitter, who knows.

Also the print on the blotter was pixelated. They very much looked like they had been printed with a home computer printer. Bubble jet printer inks supposedly don't taste very good...

I did two of the 1906-2008 Hofmanns and I was coming down after 5-6h, with the mind trip and visuals gradually subsiding over another 6h. However this is just as stated in the LSD timeline on Erowid:

It did feel less energetic than my previous experiences with acid but that might just have been my set and setting.
 
World needs more dob... that shit is visualy like shrooms,acid,mescalin and all 2c-x combined together.I havent taken all that drugs together but from my experiences,it seems like truth.Spiritual like mushrooms,intelectual like acid,bodyhigh like mescaline with duration so long that acid trip will be like nitrous compared to dob.
 
What the world needs now,
is DOB sweet DOB,
that's the only thing,

I thought DOB had found something even better than DOM =D

DOM at low dose is a beautiful substitute for mescaline. None of the nausea you get with cacti either. Good for mixing with tryptamines too.
 
Yeah - 3 or 4mg. I wouldn't say that dose is quite as psychedelic as a good dose of mescaline but it's very similar physically and mood-wise.
 
I love DOB most of all DOx becose of its raw intensity.... longest duration,strongest stimulation and bodyhigh,visuals are like no other thing I have taken.... not even salvia or 600mcg acid with piracetam... If you are kind of guy like " Give me 1/4 hit,dont want to get crazy forever man!" then doc is better for you... but if you are like me "Give me more,MORE!!!" type of human... then... dob is perfect for you... it have more of everthing ... longer,stronger,harder,faster,... dob,the original mind blaster :D
