What's the reason that this euphoric substance, called mitragynine, which has affinity to opioid receptors and can be found in the Kratom plant isn't scheduled already?

Some of the leading contributors to the war on drugs are the major beer breweries, because they know that if marijuana were legalized, it would be a major blow to their business.
