quale is right, the rush and euphoria should be stronger with smoked meth, because it hits your brain about one second faster. This is why smoking freebase cocaine (crack) is the most addictive method of administering coke. It's really simple biology:
1) Smoked *insert name of substance here* is absorbed faster than IVed because it is absorbed over into a far greater volume of blood over the huge surface area of the lungs. And also:
2) Smoked substances go straight to the brain from the lungs, whereas injected substances have to pass through the lungs before they hit the brain, adding precious, rush-decreasing time.
Keep in mind that this is most applicable to the freebase forms of most substances, which are specifically most efficient to smoke. Smoking HCl/HBr salts does decrease the effectiveness of the smoking method.
So basically, you're saying that the speed with which the onset of a drug begins is the primary and only factor in determining the strength and euphoria of the rush?
So I take it the actual amount of the drug administered is totally irrelevant then, correct?
By the logic of your 2 statements, smoking just a 1/10 of a gram of meth would then provide for a stronger and more euphoric rush than IV'ing 1 full gram, because the onset is faster. After all, via smoking, the drug is absorbed into a far greater volume of blood and doesn't have to pass through the lungs, and those of course, are the only 2 factors that have any bearing on the quality of the rush...
Now call me silly, but I am going to assume, 1 gram of methamphetamine introduced into the system unadulterated via IV, is going to produce a stronger and more euphoric rush than smoking that same gram, simply due to real world limitations and constraints.
Let me ask you this, have you ever managed to smoke a WHOLE gram of meth in one hit, without wasting any of the substance in the least, and without letting ANY semblance of smoke at all escape unabsorbed? Have you been able to do it with 1/2 a gram, or even an 1/8?
Now, "simple biology" aside...
Speaking from experience, I can definitley say that smoking meth cannot hope to compare to the strength, intensity, duration and comfort afforded by IV use. On that same note, again speaking from exeperience, I can say that IV administration of crack has more potential for addiciton than just crack itself, but that's just my opinion...
Keep in mind, I don't attack the technical validity of your statement, just the lack of regard pertaining to the numerous real world variables involved in drug use...
