Why don't chemists bother with MDA any more? v. Sighs of the reminiscent

Would happily pay 70/80 a g for MDA. Lets hope this thread might into the "MDA megathread" over time.
 
i think its only a matter of time before people stop enjoying mdma pills as much. So there will be a need to put something magic like mda in them to keep the interest of the customers. hopefully this happens :)

I doubt that very much, most of what was produced in the 90's was MDMA IMO, you'd get bored of it sitting in your house taking it but patying and MDMA go together...well like things that go together very well and get on and don't argue etc etc
 
I saw a guy loved up on MDMA in a club stop a fight by forcing the two guys (and everyone around them) to high five each other. I hope people never stop enjoying it.
 
A drug that induces empathy is a rare thing so I'm told, but for me set and setting play a large role in your enjoyment of the substance. I gave it up years ago, I reckon I'd done my fair share, but the few times I did it outside of the club / rave environment it was a real disappointment, I could easily get bored of that, MDA I'm not so sure, maybe with a dash of LSD on the side
 
I did my first hit of E New Years Eve 87'/88 @ an Oakland dead show a few days before NYE. I took it with a friend and I started to go off right when the New Years fireworks went off. It was Molly and the guy I got it from claimed he lnew the chemist in Berkley. I know "thats what they all say" but this was a time you could trust people in "the family" especially if you yourself was a hippie. i also got a quarter of strong shrooms and a bunch of good acid. Hommie told me to snort it so I did and tasted that unmistakeable MDMA taste I would come to recognize. After doing E a couple dozen times in the interim I went to my first rave, fall of 91', early and avante garde by San Diego standards. Their I did a cap of E (called X back then) a white cap that floored me for 10-15 minutes on the come up but left me with a plateau lasting 5 hours with a mellow comedown were I felt empathy and a connection with everybody. This context, a rave that we found on a foggy night after several mapoints was like being on the cutting edge of something revolutionary. This stuff cleaned your soul and made you feel pure. I did E for the next several years and experienced many different effects including one visual batch that took 1.5 hrs to kick in and then gave me gentle eye closed hallucinations. In 94-95 we were getting strong pills. They would give you visuals on the come up and floor you so you had to sit down until the plateau- sometimes puke and go off. But the plateau was clean and strong with mild visual distortions. Wonder if it was a big dose of MDMA or MDA.

So from your informed experience, how does MDA high compare with MDMA? What are the differences? Uncle fester prefered MDA. In PIHKAL the synthetic routes are different. In particular the good doctor substitutes isosafrole in his recipe for I think Piperonal in the MDA receipe. I think he might present more than one receipe for MDMA, Now a days Safrole is the precursor of choice. In his book, the good doctor Shulgin found that raceimic MDMA had a "sparkle" that various isomers lacked, even (+) MDMA, the more active isomer.

With MDA a "cone of silence" is described. Anyone who tried known MDA, can you desribe this phenomena?

Do you guys consider MDMA a hard or soft drug?, how about MDA? or inbetween, (I consider hard/soft too simplsitic, but I wouldn't hesitate to consider alcohol a hard drug and cannabis/ cafeine soft drugs if i had to make the call.)

Unlike others my view of MDA seems a little different.

MDA - Wasn't as speedy for me, in fact you had to work it harder to get going at a party or just end up sitting on the floor wasted, this may be dose related as this was from the infamous Snowballs of 92-93 which were alleged to contain 200mgs of the finest MDA. Hallucinations from MDA are like nothing else I have ever experienced, just so real even though you kinda knew it wasn't. Hyperreal is the word I would use, full on things that just were not there looking as real as anything else. Its also the only time I've truly experienced a fully shared hallucination and more than once. Also an even greater feeling of shared conciousness, I truly magical substance.

MDMA - I can comment having taken what I know was pure crystal back in then 90's, I found it more euphoric, it gave me that feeling that I could dance forever. I love the really pacey hardcore, that feeling of being at one with the beat, in general I think people enjoyed MDMA more. MDA scared the shit out of some people, I'd been doing acid so it wasn't an issue but if it was your first real drug taking experience and some twat gave you a whole snowball some lost it and got all paranoid etc.

Given the choice I'd go for MDA everytime, with a bit of Phet on the side, but high doses of MDMA brought out much the same experience.

Dunno about anyone else but at higher doses, specially the recent time at a certain event in london.. I had 1 pink apple mac and as I was coming up a bit I had another half. Coming up slowly form this and a guy who was dancing/talking wth me insisted I tried some his md. Didn't want too really as I knew it was gonna be too much for me but anyway he shoved my finger in this bag of md. Was vile, definately md and 30mins later was the highest I've ever been, 3hrs in and I was full on visuals at random times..most memorable being my eyes rolled back then next thing I know I was walking up my driveway to my house and gone opening my front door with my key. Thought I must of blacked out and arrived home... ended up walking into a group of people in front of me on the dancefloor??? looked so real. Also get people leaning on things, in wheelchairs?? reading glasses, shades on heads, skin distortions and people looking like they are 90 years old??? I find it funny and tell my m8s they get some of the same but not as mad as mine.
 
My wife always knew she was fekered when she saw a man with a wheel barrow cross the warehouse floor =D

MDA wizard, its sorta like the MDMA fairies, my MDMA connect he always reassures me that he watched the MDMA fairies make the batch. The happier they were making it, the better the stuff is. And its so true as well, ever time they are happy its really lovey, when they aren't as happy its a bit more standard.... I dont blame the fairies after all they have emotions!
 
Fek me Saucy MDA wizards it just gets better and better, although I'd prefer Saucy MDA witches or even fairies, to be fair you actually said wizard's hats but then who knows what special powers they may bestow on the wearer.....I've gone too far now haven't I ...I'll get my coat;)
 
So interested in this compound, believe I had the hearts mentioned earlier in this thread years ago (first pills I had and defo the best!). Seeing chalkboars in the middle of the club with loads of complex looking equations on it, seeing cars glide by and being in awe at how shiny they are only to think what the fuck theres no way a car would be in here im inside, seeing fields of corn with deer galloping merrily on by climbing the stairs in my house, seeing everyone wearing backpacks glasses and having strange tribal markings or tatoo's on their face / body, getting the impression I was inside a massive dome or greenhouse just barely seeing the shadowy outline of it against the night sky, good times I want some more!!! Get on it chemists!!! =]
 
Ive got 1000MG of white pure crystal MDA sitting right infront of me, mixed with 1000mg of really nice crystal MDMA, ill start the bidding at £200, come on its christmas i need to heat my house.
