Why don't chemists bother with MDA any more? v. Sighs of the reminiscent

^ i kinda agree, the one time i tried it i split half a g with 2 other people and we were so fucked, all of us tripping like mad, the road turning into a snake in the distance, crazy stuff :D

Totally agreed. I'm glad you've came in & said that because I know that you know what you're talking about. I was really starting to doubt myself even though I was sure I was right.
 
How sure are you guys of the strength of your MDMA? It seems pretty bold to me to say that the established dosing range is completely off base, especially when there are plenty of people who take 80mg doses. What's more logical, that your MDMA purity-meter is a bit off, or that all Americans and early MDMA pioneers have just been out of touch with their bodies and taking stupidly low doses?

There's definitely something else at play here. Maybe it's that you guys are insensitive to MDMA from using it so much, or from some other reason? I dunno, but it're really not logical to me how you can be saying this about MDA/ MDMA. I'm pretty experienced with both and 200mg MDMA = 100mg MDA is just asinine to me.
 
Pretty sure mate. MDMA here is purer and cheaper than in the states; there's just a big cultural difference in how we approach it. Americans tend to take one moderate dose, and got to a rave with lightshows and Vick's vapour rub and cuddle puddles and all that shit, whereas here we tend to chuck half a gram into a bottle of tonic wine, neck the lot and get stupidly fucked.
 
I would take 200mg MDA in a flash if it was in front of me. But be hesitant about taking more in one dose.

But I wouldn' be arsed taking less than 250mg mdma these days, think tolerance does play a big part in it. even 250mg makes me wish I'd taken a littlebit more :(

Don't really do mdma /pills any more, again, iF MDA was available now I'd be phoning in sick to work in the morin, fo shure.

mdma i find very boring, after the awesome come-up.

I guess my mistake was not realizing quite how fucked you guys get on MDMA and trying to use MDMA as a reference. I think I could have avoided the whole problem by just saying 100mg MDA is a light/ moderate dose and 200mg is a very heavy one. There wasn't really a need to bring MDMA into the equation, but it is interesting to see the huge cultural difference I guess.

I do gotta say though that while you guys have cheaper and more available MDMA, I really doubt the purity is too different if you're in the right parts of either country. It would be pretty ridiculous if these 80mg capsules were of inferior quality MDMA, no? :p
 
Thing is, if a pill is tested at a testing centre as 160mg mdma, it has prob got 200mg of mdma crystal in it, of 80% purity.

If you have a cap with 80mg mdma in, it prob contains about 65mg PURE mdma, as the 80mg is unlikely to be much stronger than 80%....

lol, just to confuse the issue further ;)
 
Well, I was making a generalisation, of course. You were the one who suggested that the dosage difference was down to a lack of purity in our MDMA, but from what I've seen in the NASASADADSDS forrum, that's just not the case. If someone posted this photo:

It is really shit in a lot of places... I just happen to be around a decent sized hub area. A lot of the USA probably is still getting pressed BZP and shit as MDMA.

FTR, I don't do MDMA anymore either, I'm pretty much a psychedelics and weed guy nowadays.
 
I haven't been on here in ages but saying that MDA is weaker than MDMA is just plain ludicrous.

80mg of MDA has had me in some right states.

I always thought MDA > MDMA > MDEA

Have to say this post made me laugh.

80mg of MDMA just wouldn't cut it for me, I'd feel effects but it wouldn't be anywhere near the effects I'd be after would just probably be a bit of a mood lift.
 
I think in europe were more comfortable with getting and looking spangled in public and its more tolerated.Whereas in the states its not as acceptable to get/look so spangled in public.I could be wrong and may well be !

I really often get hallucinations at the end of a night on MDMA in clubs like you have described - the wearwolf faces or peoples heads seeming animal shaped happens a lot. One I nearly always get at the end of the night and have no idea why is people's faces all turn blue which is weird and annoying but goes away if I blink. occasionally people start dancing in diagonal lines but thats due to a bad acid/mdma trip, my brain just goes back there I believe.
