i used to think harder psychedelic drugs helped me tune instruments and made me more creative when painting.

now i mostly use weed because of pain or discomfort from a herniated disk and nerve damage in my back. it helps with not really being able to excersise.

weed also makes my schizophrenic voices more positive. it's like the voices love when i get high.

really though, if it weren't for all of those reasons, i'd still be using drugs for the buzz. it changes things up and makes me less bored.

It is strange, if booze were to become illegal tomorrow but drugs were at every gas station...I would be an alcoholic looking for my next bottle instead of wanting drugs.

The same reason people drink, its just enjoyable. I dont really like to trip but I like euphoric feelings. I also like stimulants cause it makes it easier to do things and it helps manage my depression.

I relapsed on crystal methamphetamine 2 months ago, 20 years straight from powder use, and, crystal methamphetamine is a tough one to stay away from, but, I get high to literally eascape. A conscious decision to eascape. I have a nonverbal disorder I dont talk.I am an introvert, so I can lock down, and dissociate for a week, I have some friends, but if I think things get rough in a social, nonverbal but social situation people get,..."testy", and I have no appetite for that. I leave. And one of the gaunt, and few advantages of not talking much, is that it carries a big stick, so to say. But to my disadvantage people get intimidated by silent people..I hate it. So I use, to escape. Reality dictates that I have to deal with other people's shit and I have to address my mental health disorders. It's all based on control I have to admit. Ugh...

So I can get out of intense psychological pain...I have issues with reliving the past and cant stop obssessing about it for years and when something triggers the memory I just can't endure the pain. First I think about suicide and then I am like no I can just get high....so yeah. I am currently working with a therapist, but until I get through therapy drugs it is.

I was originally into drugs because I was seeking truths of the universe as well as peak, high-vibe experiences or "transcendence". I achieved both, but ultimately had to let go of drugs to go further. I also developed a permanent disability (unrelated to drugs) that made drug use impossible unless I wanted to suffer major recoil that ruined my life.

Turns out that almost dying a bunch of times showed me all the truths I needed to know and was the most "peak" I was ever going to get. Now I don't give a fuck about very much. The last time I was high on mushrooms I thought, "This is doing nothing for me." The only drug that I still really enjoy is MDMA just for the pure pleasure, but I can't even take that because the comedown triggers my disability.

Is this what "attainment" looks like, being totally unimpressed by everything?

So I wish to help people not punish lile Leaders have been doing for mee power and votes. I was using drugs for most of my life (starting with 16) and in retrospection besides a few exceptions all the times without drugs faded into a blur while times of use let sharp memories. Will be the dopamine. But it sucks that I'm currently forced to abstinence and I don't intend to live that way for long ... intrustive thoughts instead of euphoria ... also pretty intense ADHD-like behavior which wasn't there while I was using.

Yet I wonder whether memory is like that for non-users as well and the drugs just caused more intense memory or if these more pronounced memories caused the rest to blur.
