Sorry your britishness seemed to take a jab at me
I am trying to figure this out. Why do people use dangerous and illegal drugs even though they are illegal?

How far Do i have to shove a 8mg Dilaudid up my butt to feel it?
Swallowing them nothing happens. I only got a few and swallowing them just isnt going to cut it...
I use illegal drugs because it feels good and can expand the mind help you connect with others and it's fun.I am trying to figure this out. Why do people use dangerous and illegal drugs even though they are illegal?
Not to mention driving fast is FUN,Maybe because some of us have nice cars and someplace to get to![]()
In the sense that breaking the law is breaking the law, yes I do, both are illegal period.Seriously though, do you see a difference between intentionally poisoning yourself with a drug that a professional organization like the FDA has scientifically determined to be harmful and just going a little fast on the freeway?
Not true at all plenty of sober people get into car accidents all the time. Most of the people who cause car accidents are probably on drugs.
I beg to differ I have witnessed first hand people driving beyond there abilities and eating guard rail and the were sober.Sober people can usually manage to drive a few miles over the speed limit and not drive into another car.
People sober or not make driving errors but, this is the same as an alcoholic driving drunk and yet booze is legal. When people intoxicate themselves with dangerous drugs they become a liability on the road even to those of us who stay sober. Even driving normal speeds on the freeway is dangerous when drug addicts are driving.
Again I say look at alcohol. Cannabis causes much less damage than booze though I do agree driving inebriated is a bad thing to do.Even when they are no longer "high", you still have long term brain damage even from marijuana. This can impair your ability to think and be safe on the road.
Morphine is derived from you guessed it HEROIN, and adderall is legal speed and they hand it out like candy to kids it's just as dangerous and addictive as street drugs even under doctors watch even aspirin can KILL YOU.Nobody prescribes heroin for pain or crystal meth to students who cant concentrate. The chemicals that are used in legitimate medicine might be chemically related but they are prescribed under a doctors supervision. Even the drugs that have legitimate medical use are dangerous if they are not used under a doctors supervision. That is why it is illegal to sell your medications to people who they were not prescribed to....because its dangerous to take drugs without a doctors supervision.
We are a harm reduction forum but not in the way you may think, instead of lieing and trying to scare people out of using them we encourage safer use by giving people as accurate of information as we can. The laws you speak of do not prevent or inhibit anyone from buying or using illicit substances the majority believes and has scene prohibition doesn't work.Anyway, I didnt realize that this was a "drug forum". I thought it was a harm reduction forum. I am 100% in favor of reducing the harm that is caused by dangerous drugs, but I believe that the best way to reduce the harm caused by drugs is to enforce the laws that already exist which prevent people from buying and using them.
The cops do it cause it's there job don't mean I gotta like it and uh really in prison you become a better criminal you don't get your life together. You might think that cops are the bad guy for arresting you, but maybe being put in prison is actually saving your life. Having some time to get sober and reflect on your crimes might be exactly what you need to get your life together.
No, no, and doubt it.They feed you and cloth you. You can even go to college while in prison. Getting arrested could be the best thing that ever happened to you if you are a poor drug addict.
You are VERY wrong if anything they are far to harsh and people use them because they can and like to use them. All this is is the same crap they spew in the ever unsuccessful D.A.R.E. classes it's just nieve. The penalties for hard drugs are unfortunately lax. People continue to use hard drugs because the punishments are not harsh enough. If we really made an example out of the people who get caught maybe more young children s lives could be saved when they decide that using these dangerous drugs just isnt worth it.
How hard did they binge on these substances hell in that case how much did they drink? On the second note if I were you I wouldn't drive then plenty of folks are just what you described but have never touched illegal drugs. You might laugh but I know a lot of people who did drugs in college and ended up suffering from anxiety or depression because of it. I don't know about you, but I don't want the person in the car next to be to be suicidal or too nervous to pay attention to the road.
And they have FAILED spectacularly at this, think of all the lawsuits going on against big pharma. They don't protect the public they protect big pharma.I am not a doctor but I do know that the FDA decides which drugs are too dangerous for people to use. They have been put in charge of the publics well being by our elected representatives.
This is laughable you keep believing this I'll keep laughing at it.The FDA is an unbiased organization that bases its opinions on real science.
And yet they still drink and smoke, fyi they don't make laws they are supposed to regulate FOOD and DRUGS the U.S. government makes laws. The FDA has passed laws that prevent children from drinking alcohol or smoking tobacco.
By this logic why can't responsible adults use other mind altering substances responsibly? Hell tobacco is incredibly dangerous causes cancer alcohol is the same and people abuse them all the time, and the FDA is far from unbiased. They have also determined that responsible adults can use these drugs in moderation safely. As an unbiased organization I trust what they have to say.

I know why I use dangerous and harmful drugs.
Lifes too short.
Lifes a Bitch, Then you DIE.
So why not have the most fun you can, explore every corner of your mind thru drugs or just life experiences, fuck I dont want to die with regrets.
dont want to miss a damn thang
