why did i join bluelight
I joined Bluelight after researching this popular drug "mephedrone" back in the summer of 2008. After a quick google search for info, Bluelight was the first site to come up. I read around a few forums, mainly Advanced Drug Discussion and found the discussion to be intelligent, friendly, and open minded. So I joined up.
I ended up staying around Bluelight after making tons of friends. Now it is my online home
Great thread idea....I would like for it to stay here in NMI as it seems a perfect fit here.
same reason i joined but also for researching my very recent experience with MVDA fertilizer and how 150mg kept me awake for 2 days and counting and wondering when i can go to sleep!

dont u mean lurking ?I just joined because I am a writer nerd in chicago, my own use in medicines and curiosity led me here. After reading the chicago dope scene thread I figured why not just join and support a discussion.
And maybe meet a cool chick who is hot, safe and fun or just friends in general.

I joined last summer because of the same reason as "theotherside26" joined, googled mephedrone, and this site came up. I thank a lot to BL, people here helped me so unbelievable much. Thank you.

I'm obsessed with reading and talking about drugs.
They fascinate me like nothing else, I've spent pretty much my whole life researching altered states.
This place is a great forum to learn new things, I like the PD, ADD, and OD sub-forums most.
Everyone here is very friendly as well.

Basically to keep my junkie ass from being killed at the time instead of hearing everyone around me both in real life and online putting me down for abusing so many hard drugs instead of trying to help me.I joined many years ago because my bf was on here and I wanted to make fun of his old trip reports. I rejoined because my bf - same guy btw - started reading on here again and it reminded me that BL exists and is awesome. I'm pretty much a lurked, but I love all the info. Not really using anymore but the occasional opioid, amphetamine and e, but I still love reading all this ish and am in nursing school taking pharmacology at the moment so it's nice to understand some of the threads I used to ignore.To gain knowledge and to give back...
As already mentioned in my intro, I was a "lurker" for a long time before joining. During that time I was able to gain valuable knowledge for myself, specifically on how to manage my unbearable pain flares when doctors turned their noses up at me.
After all that time of just snooping around BL and gaining many insights (some useful to me, some not and others were just scary and/or entertaining). Those insights and experience from others in this community not only empowered me to help myself i(n ways I would not have though of myself) with what I already had/have![:\](https://bluelight.org/xf/BL_Images/Orig_Emoji/wrygrin.gif "wry grin :\")
but also from making big mistakes!!
I thought it was time to join the community that has provided, and I have no doubt, continue to provide valuable insights to me.
Plus, since I am now a member, I get to ask questions directly should I need to. I would also like to give back... Who knows, maybe one day I just might have the info that someone else needs that saves them from making an error.
