Why did you choose your Bluelight user name?

Mine's a nickname only like two people irl actually call me, but I've always thought it's kinda cute.

Marmalade was my 2nd secret girlie crush as a little 'un and she was 'Television's Horrible Heroine!' ... she was my heroine for a while in the early 80's anyway.

BL is the only place I use this nick. I've been on t'internet and forums from about 1999/2000ish and for the first year, used my real first name which was rather stupid. I learned pretty quick though after posting at some pretty shady forums (porn/troll/dodgyimages) I've since made sure to have a new nick where ever I post.

Anyway, here's Marmalade, I still think she's gorgeous (the actress Charlotte Coleman died pretty young though)

From a very early age I was attracted to powerful females. This is possibly due to the fact my mum was an authority fearing, nervous and worrisome figure, and therefore when I looked around for the feeling of security as a kid, it wasn't towards my mum, but females that looked (and acted) like they could do the job, be that the next door neighbour's mum, or people off the telly.

My 1st girlie crush was Catwoman from the camp TV series Batman, when I was about 6 or something in the late 70's. Julie Newmar looked like she could do the job and was a bit of a wrong 'un in the process. A good role model (and sexy as fuck) ;p

My forum name and avatar are a mix of both characters.

In "Now Wait for Next Year" by the awesome PKD. JJ-180 instantly and lethally addictive with horrible effects. Always tickled me.

Ructions coz I've always been into Punk and Punks always have stupid names! When I was younger my mates used call me Ructions, don't know why? ;) But honestly I don't like causing ruction with the nice people on Bluelight, but its good to cause a bit of ruction with the government! GURrrrrrr.....

This is a great idea for a thread Swedger, some people have some really good names on here. I have met up with a few Bluelighters and its hard getting used to calling them by their real name when you first meet them, I kept going to call them by their BL user-name! :)

god knows what kind of sordid favours catwoman pulled to get out of prison so often. seems a few weeks after being put there for some diabolical scheme she'd be back out giving poor batman grief. that goes for all those supervillians actually.. something to do with that irish chief of police no doubt, cant believe comissioner gordon was involved but who knows for sure..

I changed my userame here the first time I became a mod, cause you can do that when you become a mod. The 2nd time I became a mod I didn't bother. Boringness, inoffensiveness and not of note appeal.

Mine was initilly mugabe, which was a school nickname nothing to do with Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, as well as a lot of people calling me mugz and finding out that I had white family living in Zimbabwe when I because a mod I thought it would be wise to dissociate from Robert and just become Mugz. is still a school nickname, more used tha mugabe now anyway and has nothing to do with Zimbabwe anymore.

I'm pretty sure I started calling you Mugz and you adopted it.

I had appealed to get the name mugabe removed tons of times before I became a mod in BDD. Didn't work though. My friends in Portsmouth call me Mugs, Muga, or Magu, so it's not all you spadey I'm afraid. You may have added the Z but it sounds the same as Mugs in my head but reads better as Mugz.
