I just stumbled upon a video of Seth Troxler flexing how back in the day he could go on extreme infinite benders. I also know that a lot of the but DJs are notorious for their ability to just party infinitely, like Ricardo Villalobos who’s in his 50s now and still stays up at afters for days and has been doing so pretty much full time for many many years now.
I have a friend like that - back in the day, we would party together and he seemed to never get comedowns even though he was doing infinite drugs all the time. I tried to keep up with him once for six months and I was so completely and utterly destroyed halfway through it and by the end of it, i stopped because my comedown was Monday to Friday (when i stopped my comedown lasted for three months in which i was not able to feel any joy about anything - this was after six months of a few grams of speed, a g or two of md and cocaine every weekend friday to Monday night).
I took a long break from all stims for about six years and recently got back to doing them. I thought i would have recovered that magical gratis period where you do huge amounts with minimal comedown, but instead i seem to be more or less back to where i left off- i think some of my comedowns after relatively moderate benders have actually been quite surprisingly bad, not sure if I’ve simply lost training (talking 0,7 md over two days and i felt like hell for three days after, i was so irritable / and another 2g if speed and 0,3mdma bender over two days that left me propper irritable and miserable for a few days after).
Is it possible to get back to my previous form? I’ve never been much of an addict - moreso someone that occasionally goes through periods of really heavy partying before going through a period of very chill living and minimal drug use.
If i do enough yoga and healthy living, will it improve my ability to do long benders unaffected? I know it’s not very harm reduction, but i just enjoy something about the occasional crazy bender and like to keep that skill.
Also, in your opinion, why is it that some people can go on huge benders with no comedown while others get pretty rekt pretty fast?
