WHY are pills so expensive in the USA?

Thats what I want to know! If meth is so easy to make then why don't countries in europe have an abundance of it? Is amphetamine an easier and a far superior drug to make?
 
The differences I know are mainly the neurotoxicity which is far greater in meth, the length of the duration(non-tolerant people don't get sleep from amphetamine anyway though), the euphoria which is supposedly greater with meth, from what I've read more intense hallucinations/paranoia though amphetamine pscyhosis can get pretty bad too - guess it all depends on sleep deprivation..

amphetamine doesn't increase your pupils that much too.. It's pretty much a drug that people use without non-drug users knowing it, especially at non-drug parties where everyone is at..
 
^^^Here's a good reason: meth is a nasty ass drug. In the US's war on drugs, the crackdown on meth is the one thing I support. Go find a few meth addicts and then ask about less psychotic behaviour.
 
The European market is used to amphetamine. It is as cheap as £5 for a gram, and is of decent potency usually. Even if you explained to someone this "new speed" was way better most people would tell you to fuck off if you wanted £50 for a gram of meth.

The producers in Easter Europe know there is a huge market of amphetamine users in Europe, and probably have a good supply chain of precursors. To turm amp into meth requires an addition reaction using a gas chemical, which is an expensive step because everything has to be airtight.

A sudden change to meth would create massive upheaval in the usage of speed in Europe and many people would either stop using speed or end up killing themselves (1g~1.5g of amphetamine isn't unusual in a night out, that much meth is VERY dangerous in a short period of time).

Meth is gradually beginning to appear, particularly in the large cities in the UK and sometimes Ireland. Given another 10 years I imagine it'll be much more prevalant as people slowly find out about it, and experiment, but no sudden change can occur.

Yea, people would have to get used to it.

I'd say people would pay £50 for a gram of meth, if you show someone some meth with all those shards people won't say no, if it starts to come around people will buy it.

Meth does exist in London, just in a relatively small amount compared to E, amphetamine and cocaine.
 
Well i had some speed that felt like it had some meth thrown in there, we got pretty psychotic and had even more disturbed sleeping patterns than normally..
I do think if they start selling pure meth it would be cut heavily.. And I don't think many people would like it - such a hardcore fuck-up drug, I'm sure I'd never try it(on purpose, that is) - can't get it in my mind how people loose 2-3 days for one evening of fun..

It surprises me when people trip out over E prices. For instance, my friend tripped out that I spent $30 for a single pill. I only roll 3 to 5 times a year at most, and I'd be willing to spend $50 for a single pill knowing that it's some really good shit. There have been times when I spent upwards of $100 on alcohol at the bars/clubs; and those times, although fun, doesn't come close to the times I've rolled. The way I see it, spending top dollar for a kick-ass pill is well worth it considering how long it lasts and how amazing it makes you feel. I guess it becomes an issue if you're a weekly roller.
 
pffft count your self lucky, here in the land of the aussi, people try for 40-50$ a pop.
people get to greedy now and its harder to get. i used to think it was good to buy in bulk for 18-25$ a unit, that was a long time ago. its not worth it anymore.
coke is stupid money and its not coke its just shit.
tho meth it still pricey at least it works and theres good shit around.
im glad i dont do it often anymore those good days are over.
 
Aus drug prices are so insanely inflated it's not even funny. I don't mind too much with pills, because I try to use them moderately enough that it isn't an issue, I don't mind sinking $90 in for an amazing night once every month or so.

Meth is ridiculous though. $50 a point for good crystal, $30 for base. I guess the upside is that it's usually potent shit, you know you're getting your money's worth, whereas with ecstasy there's a good chance you're getting shitty pills here.
 
i dont think where the usa is located has anything to do with price, because in canada the price is pretty much the same price as in the united kingdom.

maybe there just smart enough not do do that stupid shit, so there really isnt a market for it,
 
Its not true that north american pills are mostly made in europe, thats not the case at all. Can easily tell by the common cuts like piperzines in Europe and meth in NA, or just go on pillreports and see that the pills are just never the same.
 
ithought pills were expensive in the US till i went to germany, and the kids there were tellin me the pills are like 20 euros=$30, thats realllly shitty. before i went there i heard that pills were like 5 bucks in europe

depends on who you meet... everywhere i went in europe i paid no more than €5 per pill (in clubs) and most of the time i'd get them for €3
 
The precursors are harder to aquire in America, and fewer people know how to cook MDMA, MDEA, MDA. Our pills are generally made here or in Mexico, As far as Texas goes anyway.
