Who's your favorite director?

D-Cro is my all time favorite director. he also does screenplays and makes random cameos. he's the shit. =D

p.s. it's spelled CronenBERG. jus pointin that out

hah, fixed it's one of those that I always get wrong

Though I know some will want to flame me: I like all of Cameron's movies.

Honorable mention: Guillermo del Toro, David Fincher, Tim Burton.

^he does his visual tricks very cleverly and uniquely. i think gondry's a great director, but his writing is terrible.

Guy Ritchie
Martin Scorsese
Quentin Tarantino
Steven Spielberg

not in that order

1. Joel and Ethan Coen
2. Ridley Scott
3. Todd Philps
4. Peter Jackson

Suprised no one has mentioned Kevin Kostner

*Costner and joking, right? I mean Dances with Wolves was alright but... :\

Yes I was joking about Kevin Kostner. I wasnt thinking about Dances with Wolves, more along the lines of Waterworld

Julien Donkey Boy and Gummo are great but I wasn't a massive fan of Mister Lonely, anything else of his you would recommend?

sion sono, love his movies and he also seems like a fun guy to kick it with :)

I think Sam Mendes deserves a mention (Revolutionary Road, American Beauty, Road to Perdition, etc.).

Tim Burton - ignoring anything past 1995- would be top of the list.

Otherwise I quite like Gilliam, Besson, Nolan, & Boyle (wasn't amazingly keen on Slumdog though.)

Most over times I usually only like one or two films by the same director.
