i liked Marilyn Manson ... try believe that
i was obsessed with Bon Jovi when i was little hehehehe mum still has the cd's & music videos still
TC

Bliss: hahahaha Millencollin are ghey
None of my current freinds believe me when i say this, but belive it or not i used to be obsessed with Marilyn Manson, KoRn, Metallica etc.
This was not a very good time in my life it was from when i was about 11-14, i used to be quite an irritated and agressive person at that time to.
Though i had listened to electronic music since i was about 8, i didnt know much about it and the only place i knew ui could hear it on was hitz fm, then when i was about 15 i met some freinds who had similar interests in music and then i got further into it, started buying compilation cd's etc. and learning about the artists and remixers and that. and now look at me im a full blown electronica freak hehe :) before what i thought i was listening to was called 'Dance' and 'Techno',
So I go from an almost Gothic metal head, to a raving electronica freak listening to Hard Techno / Minimal Techno / Detroit Techno / Electro / Vocal Trance / Progressive Trance / Uplifting Trance / Power Trance / Tech-House / Tech-Trance / Progressive House / Acid Trance / Acid Techno / Hard Trance / Drum 'n' Bass & Breakz.
I Think it's a nice change and the music has changed my life alot :)
Rob :D

NO way............ i have a korn tee shirt...LOL.. i use to be the biggest grunger... with the ripped jeans the chains....hehehe but i never got into marylin manson......i was the classic NIRVANA FREAK............ loved metallica........still have all there cds...
Sometimes i listen to em and after so long im surprised i stil remember the words....
OOOoOOooER

i was a regular culture vulture and a surfy.... i kind of floated inbetween cronulla and paddington.... i had memberships at dendy cinemas, The art gallery of NSW and the MCA, i listened to conseptual jazz, i ate at uki (that japanese vegan place) and i consumed about 12 short blacks per day....
... on the surfy side i smoked a shit load of ganja, went for earlies, listened to ben harper and other alsorted blues/folk/rock outfits and turned up for school at 10:00 (then left at 12)...
i suppose they are pretty diverse but i had some pretty wierd moods so i kind of makes sense....
also i didnt really get accepted into any single group so i kinda had to cover all bases....
electronica gave me a place to be.... a place where i can go surfing, go to the art gallery and hit the clubs and still fit in..... its cool cause its a truely open scene....
sorry that kind of turned into a rant... but these what were you and where did you fit in questions hit a cord with me cause ive never been all that good at fitting in....
*static* -this josh, over and out- *static*

Always have been and always will be a huge rock chick. Queen are actually my favourite band of all time - and I'm a huge fan of live music (especially with real instruments.. remember guitars, drums and pianos?)
A bit of a metalhead too.
And I adore classical music. Operettas, Arias, etc. Oh, and jazz and blues.
And old hiphop and REAL R&B.
And The Beach Boys.
And Elton John.
I'm done.

straight edge bmxer.I still ride (alot),but well, that straight edge thing has kinda gone out the window though i am a big advocate of moderation and i still definately like fugazi.Ian MacKaye rocks!

sketchy memories of pissed-out suburban boganity... goin out on the town n dancin to Five, Britney etc... smokin lotsa 'erb cos i didnt know better drugs existed... listening to everything from RATM to Bob Dylan to Radiohead...
boredom, depression, lack of inspiration...
to quote Axl Rose, "yesterday's got nothin for me"

mmmm... hot skater guys *sigh* yeah bfore I got into this it was all about RATM, Deftones, Korn, Slipknot, Blink 182 maybe some Dr Dre and skater guys... *misses ol' scene just a little*
(Still listen to my alternative bliss when I have the chance, not a total convert)
and yeah I gotta say I was a real tek-no hater back in the day, now its like - so wheres the rave at huh? and this Hard-NRG isn't fast enough dammit! go throw sum thunderdome on!!!

I came from the country so.. I have something in common with Narh ;)
Actually, I was always the kind of person who just tagged along with what my friends were doing, never really cared about music much, listened to TripleJ. Then a year ago I made some new friends, started to going to raves and realised that I'd found my niche, at least for the next few years..
I'm not fussy about my electronic music.. I'm not well educated either. I don't know many dj names and I own maybe 3 CDs but I LOVE it and I have never had music make me feel this way before, without the drugs, without the lasers, I can be listening to my housemates practice spinning and still get chills.
